An article came out from the President yesterday. In it he touted his many successes. While I admit the activity level and direction of the first 10 days in office have been impressive. The last 10 have been rather mechanical. The cabinet has done a great job. We've kicked out Hungary. In the process we helped liberate Mexico and Russia. Media output from the WHPR, DoI, DoE, and DoD are better than anytime in recent memory. Taxes have been dropped in the first act by our newly reinstated Congress. So that's it case closed right? Just cancel the election? Not so fast.
While it's true government media is up, Presidential media is down. Way down. We will see more campaign articles from the office of the President this month then we will actual articles opening a dialogue with the people of this nation. At least we'll have that. The incumbent attempted to exert behind the scenes pressure to run unopposed. He has made a strong case for reelection why would he feel the need for this? The answer is simple.
On eNPR Tuesday night, the President readily admitted he did not want to have to work to achieve reelection. He even accused me of running against him out of spite. In reality I'm running for President for two reasons. First I believe strongly after a year of Unity elections the eUSA
The missed opportunity on the 24th was an epic failure. As a nation we moved more people than ever before. The USWP and WTP moved enough to endanger their own places in the top 5. When I took office as Party President of the Federalists we had 600 people. As of this moment we're in the 470s. Throughout the day, myself, Wild Owl, and Talostastic monitored the situation and moved accordingly. My VPP Melissa Rose mass messaged the entire Fed party, in addition to the 150 Feds, and 160 SHIELD soldiers I personally messaged for targeted deployment. Josh Frost then Secretary of Homeland Security organized efforts to target and report multis. Who is missing from this picture of effort and teamwork?
The complete and total lack of effort on the part of the Executive dismayed and disheartened many. ATO legend Josh Frost resigned in disgust soon after this atrocious display of apathy. Many have privately grumbled in anger. I'm here to say publicly if we had a President that had given a crap the AFA would be in 6th place today without the 7 members of Congress they will no doubt use to import Serbian terrorists. Oblige made an 11th hour attempt to swoop in and be the self declared "savior" unfortunately for the Nation the Mighty Casey struck out. Sometimes there are dire consequences when you believe in your own hype. Unfortunately we all have to suffer those consequences together.
While we have recovered the western portion of our nation, it has come at an obscene cost in cc. We've all seen the very generous cc per million damage offers. To be fair more than half of this has come from private donors. For a nation that was running a deficit on operating costs alone before the occupation this should be troubling. We have reserves deep reserves. However they have been cut into significantly. This is a trend that will only continue and accelerate if our "savior" achieves reelection. We can outspend and push our enemies out I have no doubt about this. The question needs to be aske

Much as it offends our American sensibilities, we're the little guy in this fight. Our Alliance is nearly doubled in damage. Serbia individually out damages the eUSA by nearly double as well. We can draw on our cash and push our behemoth enemies out, but sooner or later the funds will dry up. Our enemies will happily bleed us dry until we're broke, and then we're at their mercy. There is no quick, easy solution to our situation. A long term patient course must be thoughtfully plotted out. As it stands current policy appears to be throw money at the problem. That and attempt to ingratiate ourselves to a bemused Spoland. There doesn't appear to be a plan B.
I've laid out the cracks in the incumbent. Now for the serious business of laying out what I would do. First I would go all in on COT. Many months of foreign policy failure have led to the mess we're currently in. Seeing former EDEN nations like Poland fighting against us so determinedly is a huge example of what we're currently reaping. Some have said we need to leave CoT. While it's true our alliance is new to the big stage, and is experiencing growing pains, the fact is short of TWO there is no direct upgrade. We must stay the course and improve the alliance we're in. CoT has shown remarkable perseverance and coordination this month.
Presidential media would not be few and far between. The people of the eUSA and I would have a consistent dialogue. One thing great Presidents of the past have done is keep everyone feeling apprised, engaged, and involved. I will publish at least twice a week.
I will lead on ATO efforts. No half measures, or ignoring the situation. No posturing 11th hour heroics. Effort consistent solid effort.
I will spread the credit on successful endeavors. So much of the daily goings on of the nation is handled in a daily thankless grind by the Cabinet and the Departments under them. From the mass messagers and QMs of the Interior to the Ambassadors, and the officers of the USAF. All of these dedicated individuals put in hours every day. I will also step up and own any failures on my part unequivocally and without hesitation. Let me be straight I will not take credit for the efforts of others, nor will I seek to lessen or avoid blame.
I will be coming out with an article that is exclusively platform in the next few days. In my experience someone who begins to flag in their effort and energy during their first term, have no business seeking a second term. I am putting the incumbent on notice. You are the heavy favorite, but you will work to earn reelection. That's what democracy is all about.

Saying 'former EDEN member Poland' is like talking about the Atlantis Alliance. It's ancient history. Things change (drastically) month to month, and you're talking about stuff that is like 3 years old.

there are "alot" of things that will keep them out. but yes, the government spends alot of money. they do pay out some but some of that pay out, has helped developing players like me get on our feet and start to help the economy, and war efforts. now i don tknow persay where im getting paid from. all i know is that it helps. i have personally dished out 1mil damage over 6-7 resistance wars, and in that time i have doubled what i make and am now almost able to support myself, and one other person. Almost. by spending the money, they are helping us make money and warriors to fight off the opposing threat. i am sure we have a plan, and if we do not, we will come up with one 😉 but it was a very nice article.
Funding for the Department of the Interior doesn't come from tax dollars. I do agree that the work they do for new players is invaluable. I appreciate you taking the time to read and comment.
Pretty sure he means the COs that give the lower players the ability to actually fight and tank. The COs are not something that just go poof and gone. A lot of it goes straight into the pocket of new players, players in lower divisions etc. This helps them to establish a better economic stability which helps us in the longer run as well.
i am trying to get into more of the political game, i am a warrior style player. it is always a pleasure to see someone writings and see their point of view.

The government needs to spend the money they steal from us. What else would they do with it? The game is about WAR.
They're spending twice the amount of money they tax from us on operating costs alone. That excludes rw costs, tanking costs. CO costs.
We have had 0 RW costs so far, thank you very much. 🙂 And not sure what these "operating costs" are, but so far the only thing money has been spent on is COs.
Operating Costs are mpps, and supplying usaf. This is money voted on and allocated by Congress. The COs come from the SCI dipping into reserves and private donations. It's not a line item on the budget. When money is spent to push a wall it's not been budgeted. It's complete deficit spending.
We got 1m from the congress + a lot from private donors. I don't know if SCI was requested as well, but most was congress.
So the ATO plan has been the same it has been for months. Move people around and hope it works. The plan itself is what isn`t working in this ATO I even told the old DHS Kody5 that the current method isn`t doing anything as it is getting very few new players involved. ( getting new players involved is hard cause there isn`t a babby boom and likely never will be one)
As you said on the 24th WTP and USWP moved so many people into AMP and NLRP they put themselves at risk. The feds managed to move 130 of there 600 members which is great but the country needed more movement from the feds. So its the presidents fault the party with the most members couldn't`t move more when one of their fellow party members was the DHS?
As well I feel it is safe to say oblige is writing Weekly if not more frequent WHPR. He as well brought back old government media and wrote a DoD article himself about battle direction that has been re-published. The current RWs are as well all being won, it may be by a close margin but the strategy is working and with the recent 25% worker tax that just ended the gov does have a slight surplus in funding.

The top 5 moved more than ever before. Executive involvement would have helped in getting the 6thers involved. The idea to contact the AFA to get those who moved over for RGR's tanks was a good had the strategy been used all day it would have worked. Instead Oblige waltzed in at the last minute and attempted to save effort. Too little too late.
I'm onn the WHPR staff, we publish 3 times a week. There's little to no involvement from the CP. While we do great work in the media department, we are not the President.
The strategy is working for now. Nothing stops TWO from coming back again. They're bigger, stronger, and wealthier than we are. We may very well succeed in pushing Serbia out tomorrow even. However Poland is still here. They are also stronger than we are. All while draining irreplaceable reserves.
The 25% tax is not the surplus everyone thinks it is. A very large chunk of it was already spoken for by massive spending that has already been going on. The nation will not tolerate the tax levels that would be needed to offset current levels of spending.

You are misconstruing the point. Executive did nothing, until the absolute last minute. Zip zilch when it was brought up the response was the Feds and 6thers need to step up. No coordinating no reaching out to 6thers, no reaching out to MUs, JCS nothing. No Leadership, no ownership.
(1) What part of nothing could be done did you not understand? We don't have the bodies, it is that simple. For every AFA multi, you need 4 real people. Did you expect a babyboom overnight? Or do you think the executive should have started creating its own multies, 4 fake accounts for each 1 AFA fake account? Please, let's be reasonable.
(2) If there were any fault (I don't think there is any fault) it would lie with the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the CP only through having made a bad choice. After the first 2 months, DHS was tasked with coordinating the ATO movements, and due to *ahem* differences in methods, it basically became the *only* thing DHS does. Why do you expect the CP to micromanage?
We were less than 30 bodies short are you really saying the CP doesn't have the influence to move 30 people?
For each 4 people you find, a single multi created in less than 5 mins would keep the same difference. And finding 4 more actual players gets successively more difficult, whereas creating an additional multi isn't harder. They would simply create more multies the more people you moved to T5.
You are free to believe what you want. Take part in the ATO process next month if you want to see how things really work in practice.

Now you are just trolling me. I personally moved 150+ people for ato. I spent that entire day coordinating and trying to get everyone covered. I would extend your own invitation right back at you. Participate then you will know who was and who wasn't in the room.

Pretty sure I rage deleted the rest. I caught a few hours of sleep came back and the AMP was below AFA for 5th place by 2 bodies. This was 735 am central time. At this point I messaged 90 Feds 30 each to amp , WTP and NLRP. I also messaged a dozen or so to reinforce the USWP.
AFA continues to climb by nearly 3pm uswp is only a half dozen up on AFA.
5pm AMP down 8,NLRP down 3, single digit leads for wtp and uswp.
623 pm AFA is in 2nd. Efforts to find and report multis are organized by Josh Frost. The entire Fed party is messaged to move.
Plato bans about 20 bodies in the intervening hours.
Oblige logs in with less than 2 hours before reset. After an hour of little activity decides to pay people to move. In the end were 20 something bodies short.
Thanks for the data. So as you can also see, they could move ahead despite our lead. A last minute "snipe" instead of gradual movement could have been a better strategy, but I know how hard it is to keep people up until day change. I also sent my party to merge with USWP for what its worth.
It seems that people did an awesome job, so you would be grasping at straws towards the end. When every active person has been successfully moved, an article doesn't really help.
Anyway, that's what I think.

Let me tell you something, i was monitoring the parties numbers(just for myself)and AFA had so many multies that the only way to win them was, to make multies.
You can't win multies without making multies.

I'm highlighting a failure on the part of the executive to seize an oopportunity to destroy the PTO. Plenty of people put in the work. The President was not one of them. What he did wrong was put zero effort into the 24th. During the week leading up to it and the day of. He waltzed in last minute with grand pronouncements of saving the ato, but by then it was too late.
Do you see me going after WildOwl, Talostastic, or Josh Frost? No you don't. Because they gave the ATO their all. Something our "savior" would be out claiming as a badge of honor if it were anywhere close to true.
I did not realize that a President were to micromanage everything. I thought they were supposed to give out orders what they want to have done, and then be briefed and updated about the situation. No person can micromanage everything in eUS, that's impossible. Throwing the defeat on him is just purely nasty.
Exactly right Seppo. Trouble is no leadership, direction, or oversight came from the executive on this. It was handled almost exclusively by the top 5 Party Presidents. The PTO is a national problem, but it wasn't treated like one by the President. You don't have to take my word for it. Ask around, Talo, WildOwl, JFrost, and others witnessed this firsthand. Ask Israel Stevens how hard he tried to get the President to play an active role in ato this month.

I am pretty new to the game but there was only one party (yours) with the people to help join other parties and get them into the top 5 and you guys couldn't get the people to move. I am not sure how that would be different if you were President. I am not going to point any fingers but I'd think you guys would take as much responsibility for the failure as the President who couldn't make your people move any better than you did.
I'm going to attempt this one more time. TBRaiders you are blaming the Feds, the group who gave the most to ato efforts for its failure? We moved and lost close to a quarter of our members. I messaged more than 300 of my own people to move. I also messaged, the American Communist party. EZC, USAF, and a list of unpartied players. My Vice President messaged the entire party and outside groups as well. Oblige did literally nothing.
Members of my Party and my MU responded pretty well. The results were more mixed with the outside groups. I'm the Federalist Party President, a request from me means little next to a request from the President of the Nation. So how does my party which gave every effort it could share in the blame with a President that did nothing?

I don't think I have ever seen a CP take the lead on ATO. I know the last one didn't, I didn't see any Feds complaining abt his lack of activity or anything else. I am mixed on Oblige, but this is nonsense and nothing but politics.
When you two get ready for the big stage you won't have to get there by attacking someone else.
