Ministry Re-Shufle

Day 514, 05:52 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by The Ministry of Work

Hello Workers

Recent Troubles

Most of you may have noticed that some of our companies ran out of resources and money yesterday, that is most unfortunate and meant many of you could not work. Let me just explain what happened.
As most of you may already know, I am actually John Forseti and I run this organisation and it's companies because the current President and his two predecessors appointed me as the Minister for Work. I am a citizen and congressman of the North East and a member of the Unity Party, which as you will know held it's party president elections on the 15th, as did all the other parties in the world. I ran for those elections, which meant I spent most of the eDay messaging around 200 citizens and responding to their questions, queries and suggestions. That's a bit bad isn't it? Taking some time out of my official duties to run for party president? But it's OK I thought, I have a team of under minister's whose job it is to log in everyday and check things are in order and try and correct them if they're not. They can take the strain for a day, that's essentially what they're there for.

The next day I was looking at the results of the elections over my breakfast(spam, egg, sausage and spam), the current TUP incumbent beat me by just 3 votes, ohwell, back to my normal routine then. I messed about on the forums for a bit, absorbing the days events and so on. But then, either I didn't cook my sausages right or the disappointment of defeat proved too much for my iron constitution because I began to feel ill and spent the rest of the day in bed. But it's OK I thought, I have a team of under minister's whose job it is to log in everyday and check things are in order and try and correct them if they're not. They can take the strain for another day, that's essentially what they're there for.

Well. I was wrong. When I woke up(feeling much better thanks) and logged in very early this morning, I was very dismayed to find that it seemed nothing had been taken care of in my absence. No resources, no money, no spreadsheet updates(Not that anyone but me had been trying to keep it up to date). Imagine what would have happened had not my Adonis like body fought off the evil communist sausage out to steal my juices? You still would not have been able to work even now! Therefore I have spoken to the president, explained the situation and we dismissed the team.

The New Horizon

Which leaves two positions unfilled;
So please welcome the first new Under Minister for Work

Mailak Kalan! I have spoken to Mailak many times and find him to be a good and active citizen looking for a chance to serve his country. I'm giving him that chance and I'm sure he'll do us proud.

That leaves one slot so please welcome;

YOU!

I have no one in mind to fill the position and so applications are open! Are you interested? Are you active? Can you use a calculator and a spreadsheet? If so get on over to the UK's National Forums and look in the Job Centre to apply.
