The Ministry of Trade has been very busy lately with negotiations for other countries, trying to benchmark currencies, carry on the economic discussions with other dignitaries, and so on. We've been fully functional, at least outwardly even in the absence of our PM.
Inwardly, however, we've got things that need approval. I've been working on Trade Agreements with 3 countries, Currency benchmarks which I need a PM's say in, and loan applications which have to signed off on by the PM in order to be given, per legislation.
Due to the recent "delay" that was enacted by MP Dan Fallows, and the inability of Commons to make up their minds on what to do, I am making the following changes to the Ministry that will stay in effect until we have an active, official Prime Minister:
1. The only personnel considered part of the Ministry will be:
UnderMinister: Funky44 (this will allow me to run the RM Scheme which I need no approval for, and keep our RM markets improving)
Apprentices: Deathtoll (currency benchmarking), Deilos (Trade Negotiations)
Anyone else, I am sorry for the inconvenience, but for now all duty otherwise is suspended.
Anyone requiring loans will also have to wait for an elected Prime Minister. There were 4 that applied, and you are now in a holding pattern (which, for your own information would have given us gifts, diamonds, and wood) until Commons makes up it's mind.
2. Please do not apply for loans until an announcement has been made that we are once again operational. Those requests will be discarded.
3. Any and all Gold loans run through this Ministry. Until Commons comes up with a solution, considering they didnt like the cabinet's, they can suffer the effects of not having a PM. One MP was even quoted as saying they would be hesitant to Impeach FD simply because of Jerry's affiliation. If you are not going to give this Ministry an active PM, it will not nor cannot function.
4. Do not expect any reports for exporting or analysis. They will also be delayed.

He cannot sign in place of an elected PM, considering thats what it takes to approve them.
He's fine on the forums, but not for an in-game technicality.

Glad you're taking this so seriously Dan. I'm sure the people you represent in NI are glad to have you as an MP. I'll remember that in the loan selection process.
dan u havent justified this at all, FD had to go he is inactive all u have done is ruined your country for up to 7 days more
this is no sign of respect to FD, the last thing he will want to know when he returns is the country sat there waiting for him for 2 weeks

How is Dish abusing his powers? Maybe FD told him "Don't trust Dan Fallows with loans"; there's no way to tell.

We need a populist vote and discussion on these trade agreements and any amendments.
Um, no we don't. I need the PM's approval and Commons. Thats it. Those are your elected representation. There's no "populist" vote on anything in Erepublik, really, outside of Elections.

@Mbem: Once we have a proper PM, this will start again, so you'll get your chance. Just cant quite do much without a proper PM.
