Minister of What?!?

I have heard thoughts on merging some of these positions and I strongly disagree with that notion. I don't want to start combining and run the risk of quality being sacrificed due to time constraints the good people in these positions may face. Minister of Mystery Goulash. We will throw you all into the pot and see what we come up with.
I am interested in hearing what the current Ministers may have as far as suggestions or problems that they have had to deal with that we can attempt to correct. The Ministries I speak of are Minister of Education, Minister of Health, Minister of New Citizens and Minister of Community. These are some of our most important positions because these people are some of the first in a young citizens life and the quality of the people running these Ministries may make a huge difference in these young lives. I don't want to start combining and run the risk of quality being sacrificed due to time constraints the good people in these positions may face.
In recent times the Ministry of Immigration has fallen by the wayside. Thankfully some have stepped up to the plate, as it were, to see that people seeking citizenship are vetted and granted citizenship as the process proceeds. A new system is being put into place in order to facilitate this process so until we can measure it's failure or success, it will need to be followed and judged over time.
I would like to see a more active role for the Minister of Information. One of the ideas I have for this are articles recognizing our fine citizens who wish to submit their accomplishments to the Ministry and then compiled into a weekly article. These accomplishments could be a business purchased/created, a hard worker medal, a level up, or maybe an ebirthday. This is just one idea. There are more in the works.
I will also encourage each and every Minister to utilize the IRC Cabinet channel in order to improve communication with and between every department. Though I will first hire someone with high construction skill to build a secret room so that I may hide if needs be.
So to summarize, some of these Ministries have been doing rather well and others are on their way. With ideas and cooperation and the hard work of those willing to take on these positions, our young citizens as well as our community as a whole should be well cared for.

Combining some of the ministries is a horrible idea. Most ministers already put in a ton of time into the ministries they have and asking them to carry an even bigger workload would seem a bit over the top. We have to remember ministers do this work on their own time and are not compensated in any way for their work. They are employees of the government who are not paid.
Also having more ministries (more, but not useless ones) gives others more chances to become ministers.

I'm with Pdiddy. No! Do NOT eliminate any of the existing ministries. We are linked well together separate, but cohesive.
When I was MoNC, I was it. Just me. It wasn't until the end of Patton's second term that Buddy came into my elife. He was the first person I had come into the ministry that I felt could handle it. He had recruited Sweetie and Memphis(both of whom were my babies at one time) into his ranks and that ministry has kept up with the high standards that I initially envisioned. They have also added their own flair which I am delighted to see. 🙂 They make me proud.
The Ministry of Education is off to a good start. The Mentor Program is running pretty much the way I want it to. I am starting to get classes in place and I would love to continue what I've started. I can definitely see more enthusiasm and hopefully this will translate into a better educated workforce. The data is too new to know for sure. I'm not shy to say I think we are on to something.
You can pretty much shape this into whatever you want. The key is consistent communication and a clear understanding of how each ministry fits into the overall strategy. It needs to be organic structure, not rigid. It needs to be able to respond to the needs of the people without having to go through a thousand hoops to get there. Know what I'm saying?

Hmm, i know if this is refering to my idea for Ministry of Interior, im just rebranding immigration with more opportunties.

Also randomly, if there were to be creation of new ministries, there should very much be a Minister of Wikipedia. I tried to get our wiki updated during my last term but there's just way too much to do lol.

Combining Ministries is definitely a bad idea
I do have to say the Ministry of Immigration was Ministerless after Dash resigned but John picked up the slack over 2 weeks ago and it has been going strong this whole last half of the month
