Dictionary definition - a body of citizen soldiers as distinguished from professional soldiers.

Everyone has their own view of a militia. Some support it and go as far taking part in a militia, others support it with donations. Still other have a negative or less then favorable view of militia. Some say a military organization outside of the government is irresponsible, not needed. Regardless of what peoples opinions may be its undeniable that militias around the world have made an impact in invasions and RWs across eRep. The following are the major militia groups in US.

ST6
ST6 also know as Seal Team 6, was founded by our current president Josh Frost. ST6 priority is to start and fight in RWs in order to take from PEACE what they stole and give back to our allies what they lost. According to its founder Josh Frost, ST6 was established to fight the unconventional war, while the marines and army have done a marvelous job at defending our home land certain restrictions sometimes prevents them from going overseas. ST6 is devoted to fighting inside enemy territory, while ST6 does take part in important conventional battles like the Croatian, Slovakian battles and Alaska, it will in a sense ignore battles in which victory can be easily attained in favor of RWs in PEACE territory. This direct quote from inside ST6 forum says it all- "If your interested in bringing the fight to PEACE and returning the land PEACE is using to fund this war to its original owners then feel free to apply." Examples of ST6 deployments are the RWs in Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, successfully handing Australia, India, Belgium, Denmark their long lost territories.

EM
EM also know as Eagles Militia was founded by George Barker and Mercutio. EM priority is to fight in important battles both nationally and internationally. According to George Barker at the time EM was founded "there was no functioning training division, while the requirements for the regular military branches were pretty high, like 8 strength and a captain for the MI. New players are the life of the game, and we had all these newer players looking around for a way to help out, but there was none besides working and fighting barehanded. I had spent my early game days in Romania at the height of its power, and had seen how it organized its military, where people work in exchange for weapons, and I thought the same thing would work for our newer players. I had a Q1 weapons company, so I decided to give their model a shot." EM also works hard for player retention. Its a place where new players can learn from the experienced players and gain rank in a wise and efficient way. EM has beserked in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, and Alaska, in each battle their damage increased by about 10%, which reflects how
quickly they rank up. they have also sent guys to Poland to fight for the Poles, and to Hungary to help get the Slovaks back on the map.
