Military report day 1586

Dear victorious Dutchmen,

I greet you all with good news, which you undoubtedly already know.
The Netherlands secured 2 of the provinces of the former state of Belgium.
We held back on the last one, Wallonia, because there has been a cry for a congress among the belgian inhabitants.
Now personally i disagree with letting them have a congress, as they are unworthy of the political power. But our generous president decided so, probably just to have them shut up about their utopian world peace hippie state.

So here's what else happened on the continent:

First up is russia, as they have gained a lot of territory since my last report. Remember they retreated from norway last week? They retook it already, beating Ireland in the race to invade Sweden. Using a pincer movement, they have secured 7 territories already. There has been a lot of activity on the scandinavian peninsula, but most seems to be won by Russia. Expect them to hold back swedish congressional elections.



Finland is still on the hunt for Estonian ground, you can see their latest attempt here:


While i haven´t paid particular attention to the Bulgaria/Turkey conflict, i did notice it erupted in Natural Enemy declerations from both sides earlier this week. They haven´t started a major offensive yet, but it seems Bulgaria is hopping from shore to shore to get to Turkey fast. Who´d expect Bulgaria to start the hostilities?



Serbia and Fyrom are still holding the Italian boot, but i think Slovenia might get in the top of the boot and kick them out. Expension westwards means different things for these countries, as you can see in the next picture Macedonia might be going in to save Spain.



Brazil is failing to hold Spain. USA is trying to keep the Iberian Peninsula under their control but won't be able to deal with the Spanish alone, especially if FYROM comes to help out!


And i saved the UK for last, they have been fighting a hard fight, Ireland put most their time into containing England, in stead of their original plan, conquer sweden.
Still, the UK has a tiny chance to win Congressional elections.
