Introduction
My last article received widespread praise – I think – so I will endeavour to undertake a similar task today. There have been no dramatic political/economical changes in the last 24-32hrs, so today's analysis will have a largely military focus. By the way still trying to complete that mission, I need 25 comments from different people, cheers
Politics and Economics
My last article wished luck upon those recently elected to Congress, no bills have yet been passed, although it is still early days: I would suggest a natural enemy bill be passed between us and Thailand as they are consistently encroaching on our borders. See below for reasons.
As for the economy, yesterday Kunal Grover pointed out that: "The main economic reserves in our country today are stored in player accounts and organisations rather than the Treasury. So, it isn't as it appears.
We now control three territories: Rajasthan, Odisha (Orissa) and Chhattisgarh. These combined give our nationals a +30% food production bonus (if the game still works in that way). So all in all politically, and economically we're going fine.
Military
Now I get down to the nitty-gritty. My last article spoke about the victory in Orissa and the RW in Bangalore (which we lost dramatically). I then wrote, with complete honesty: "In future I suggest we coordinate a single RW at one time slam our forces into it and reclaim it. Then take a few days to recuperate, gather weapons and food before striking again. Reconquer the nation slowly, but in a controlled methodical manner."
I logged on today to see this:
Two new wars in Gujarat and Jharkhand!
I was amazed.
I then went to the "WAR" tab to see this:
Three wars!
I was amazed again.
I recently re-watched 'The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies' for the bizillionth time (I love Tolkien, if you wanna talk about it PM me or comment). There is a scene where Azog, standing by the semaphore yells in the Black Tongue "They cannot fight on two fronts!"
That is incredibly true. I mean, even a dumbass orc knows that. So why on earth were there two RWs and a invasion defence at the same time. We need to coordinate this. Using in game coms, we need to establish a system where players attack nation at once, as one. We have only 800 active citizens (at the time of writing), most of which I don't think are active. How can a small force spread itself so? We cannot, we just don't have the numbers. Continuing the Middle Earth thread, we need to be like Dwarves: small, powerful and united.
I for one do not want to see such and occurrence again, I am not sure who sponsored the RWs, whether for Resistance Hero Trophies or just for les gains, if there were indeed started externally, I am asking- no telling wit what little power I have that the government, the large MUs or even a socially aware and dedicated citizen to direct us. Anyone at all- post in all threads in game and out. We need to unite.
At the time of writing the scores for the various campaigns are:
-Thailand vs. India 11:0
-Thailand vs. India (RW) 0:0 with all domination points to India
-Bulgaria vs. India (RW) 0:0 with all domination to Bulgaria
Considering this we must decide, whether to rise up against Bulgaria in the early days of the campaign. Rise up against Thailand and try to reclaim old lands. Or try and hold onto what we have. I will leave the decision to those with real legislative and fire power, but for what's its worth, I think keep what we have, then take what you can and give nothing back!

🙂". However some of you at least listened to my somewhat uneducated advice to donate. A shout out goes to Bharmal who: "successfully contributed with 5000 INR" and "successfully contributed with 1200 Energy Units". Well done.

In our Country, Congress title exists only as a name, seriously, this is the situation today.. The main planning and every related stuff happens on Skype (the WhatsApp grp is brimmed with spam).. Whether a Congress Member or not, every member of the Skype grp (which is open to all) has the ability to partake in the decision-making of his nation. The Congress Members are added to Indian Message Threads, though not much imp stuff happens there.. So, a Congress Member today without Skype or WhatsApp is totally powerless.. He has a very little power.. As you might be thinking, Congress cannot do much..
Thailand is much much powerful than India.. We cannot do much against them.. I'm 85% sure we'll lose, besides, what's the use of wasting our resources like that? Thailand has been involved in deals with us from a long time, all this happens due to diplomatic skills of our nation..
I guess most of the above wars were also some kind of a deal (correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't checked the updates correctly)..
And I also want to tell you that we do coordinate.. It might not appear to you, but planning does go on inside.. The deals in today's world have made the War system quite complex, it's not always as it appears.. It might be that if a RW is going on somewhere, the foreign occupier is releasing the region for Congress or something like that, coz it was already agreed upon, it was a deal already made! It was fixed (in cricket terms).
Today's eWorld is a lot different, and there are a lot of things to be learnt, "you gotta be involved to learn" (it's what I've observed)..

To clarify a couple of the pretty valid issues you raised.
We don't really have 800 active citizens. The actual number is probably 100 if we're lucky. Rest are probably dead or multis. To put things in perspective, check the Military leaderboard tab (beside notifications) > Countries > Damage. We're now 40 on the list, though I hear we have gone up a few notches in the past few weeks.
So while we do coordinate our damage as best we can - it can be done much, much better & Skype, as Kunal said, is an essential part of how we can do that - actually winning against behemoths like Croatia & Thailand is a much more complicated business. A lot of resources are required to begin with; which as a nation we do not have. To put things in perspective, we recently removed Romania from our regions with the help of allies & Combat Orders (basically attracting mercenaries with money) - it cost us 400,000 cc which was entirely from the personal funds of some players.
Thus it falls to working out diplomatic solutions to either hold on to our regions or have nations like Bulgaria (which is our closest ally) hold them for us as protection & work out rental agreements with others. The RW's you see in Bulgaria are usually started by others trying to grab RH medals or by Bulgarians themselves, so they have a battle to get True Patriot rewards from. We are not supposed to win them.
When a nation holds another's regions for some time, a determination bonus builds up for the occupied nation - the RW's that we won from Thailand and Croatia are to reset that determination bonus & was initiated by them with our permission. Thailand have NE'd us to regain those regions. We are currently in negotiations to work out a rental deal with both Croatia & Thailand for the regions they plan on holding.

Wow, I had no idea the game mechanics/methodology had changed so much. I was wondering how is international diplomacy carried out? Is it in game or out, because everything used to be in game, I can't use Skype or whatsapp as my parents wouldn't allow it, so what's the best way to can't t you guys since Irc is extinct?
International diplomacy is carried out in many ways, sometimes it is in-game, sometimes out of the game, on IRC, Skype, etc. Other countries use IRC very much, but India has officially abandoned it's use since long. Well, the best way currently to contact us is in-game (acc to ur situations), I, personally, am available and active on all platforms, contact me in-game or out, I'll always reply. All active players do check their messages, especially those involved to a large extent (such as our Dictator Rayne 😁 😉 ).
Aah no worries. Yeh, IRC used to be pretty popular & I've personally always been a proponent of it. But almost no one uses it as such these days. I still have my nick on it as do some others & if you wanna chat anytime, drop me a line in game & I'll come on IRC if I can.
International relations have always been quite tricky - trust me, I've handled foreign affairs longer than many folks have actually played the game. Heheh... It is mostly via chat channels & some over in-game pm, but not much. It's usually the MoFA or a core team which handles it based on their contacts or whatever negotiation skills they bring to the table.
Our primary focus is of course developing relations with allies & protecting our regions with whatever resources we have. As a small nation however, we don't have a high damage output or financial strength like the bigwigs; so we have to negotiate a bit harder than most, be judicious about where we focus our efforts and resources. While we can't go toe to toe with most big nations, we can still do quite a bit of damage for allies & gain their support in return.

I would suggest you do take some time out to at least use the communication tools at your disposal by messaging either our Dictator, or even simpler, type -chat in the Military Unit chatrooms. You can ask about things that you do not know yet... i'm sure we are all a friendly bunch and will answer to whatever you ask (at least whoever is online at that time will)
You write well but your not so subtle hints at sarcasm would be better placed with a bit of information beforehand! (and I believe so many people have commented and tried to help you/advise you in your previous articles so really, not much excuse for not contacting them!)
Since India needs active and intelligent players, you will always be welcome, but please get to know our other players too!
Lastly, RWs can be started by anyone... and as we stand, India is dwarfed by Bulgaria, Croatia and Thailand in termms of military might, so we do not start any RWs unless we really mean to free the territory. Most of the work is done diplomatically. Bulgaria are our brothers and have always supported us, so we do not encourage or support any RWs against them.
Croatia and Thailand? well our Dictator will help answer that one! 😃 what I can tell you is that when we open serious RWs against them, you will see Indians in the top 5 fighting hard.
And a few Bulgarians & Macedonians too. 😉
