Mibbit IRC for beginners

Kia Ora Kiwis!

So I've been gone for a while, and I've returned to see many new faces. I don't, however, see many new faces on IRC. So for that reason, I'm going to sit down and tell you about mibbit. IRC is a way for us to talk to each other without messaging each other in game and worrying about pesky forfeit points for being mean to each other. So here goes:



Step 1.
Click on the hyuperlink to enter the mibbit website

Step 2.
In the upper right corner, click create an account



Step 3.
Enter a username, password, and email address (they don't spam, only used if you forget your password). DO NOT USE YOUR IN-GAME PASSWORD AS THIS IS EASY TO HACK AS YOUR PASSWORD CAN BE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC!!!!



Step 4.
Click on the channels button in the top right corner and then click add entry.





Step 5. Next you can add in the server name which is irc.rizon.net and then add the channels you wish to join. There is a list of the top 15000 or so to the right, or if you ask some older players, you can add channels as you see fit and as you become more comfortable using mibbit.
