MI - Meet your CO

Day 695, 07:08 Published in USA USA by Heather Fuchs

Thank you everyone who submitted a guess on which question I made up last week for our XO. There were a LOT of you who found it hard to believe Lt. General Seuss enjoyed long distance running. I guess because he lives on an island you couldn't imagine him running in circles because he's so organized here. But that one was real.

There were an almost equal number who felt that surely Twist and Shout as performed with brass in the movie Ferris Beulers Day Off could just not be the song that made him get up and dance. I'm sorry to inform you that you've just learned one of those unfortunate facts about someone you're rather not know because it's true.

The question I did make up was how much Seuss listens to Bruce Springsteen on his iPod. When I ask him this question after the article was posted he said the most listened to group would be a toss-up between Pink Floyd, The Flashbulb, Vangelis, and George Winston. Interesting taste indeed Sir! Major Dimension, Bravo Company QuarterMaster was the only one to guess correctly, and he's received his Q3 weapon prize. Congratulations Major.

This week it's my pleasure to introduce US Mobile Infantry CO General beerman616.

General beerman616 has participated in eRep for more than 7 1/2 months. He swings an amazing 12.32 in strength and his work history has been almost exclusively in manufacturing, garnering him an impressive 6 Hard Worker Medals. In-game he is ranked as a General and has rained down 52,739 units of damage on enemies of the eUSA all over the globe. He holds the distinction of being ranked #225 of ALL citizens in the United States.

beerman616 also allowed me to interview him. As we did last week, the conversation follows, with a twist. One of these questions I didn't actually ask him. If you are the first to figure out which one I made up, send me a (do NOT post your guess in the comments below or it won't count) and you'll win a Q3 weapon for your next battle.

>Favorite game (outside of eRep of course):
hm, beeropoly or playing Wii tennis or golf.

>Sport you are best at:
I've always been a great Bocce Ball player, but I played basketball all my life. It's my favorite sport to play and football is my favorite sport to watch.

>Military branches and positions you held before becoming CO:
well...I started off in the National Guard (now called the Training Division) and was place in the Sixth Platoon under YoyoPon. I became her platoon XO for awhile. Then I transferred into the NG Third Division (the Cavalry, I think) and I was a private in Claudius Ceasar's platoon. Then I became XO for him I believe. After a short time being the NG3, the third division was turned into the MI. I took a position as Platoon CO of Bravo 8, where I served until I earned a promotion to CO of Alpha Company.

I stayed in that position for awhile until things started getting a little too interesting for me...I spent roughly three days in the AB in the 101st division. SVV who became General of the MI asked me to come back and be a Brigadier General for Operations. I did that until SVV parted, then Deificus asked me to be his XO. And the rest is history. lol

>Do you have a dog or cat:
I want a dog, and my fiancée and I have two kittens...who are a pain in the butt most of the time.

>RL age:
I'm 23 currently.

>Favorite drink:
Red wine... wait...NOT!! This one shouldn't be a surprise given my avatar name. Beer! I do like an icy cold lager from time to time.

>Song you hear on the radio that makes you get up and dance (or at least makes you want to):
I'm not much of a dancer...but I do like a good ole hokey pokey. Just kidding! I guess Constantly by Cross Canadian Ragweed because for my fiancée and I it's "our song".

>What is the largest caliber weapon you have ever fired RL:
I've fired a few 50 Cal's and one old school fully automatic turret machine gun. That was awesome. Sitting on a bucket lighting a hillside up and just shaking from the sound and kickback of the turret gun was so awesome!

>When was the last time you snow skied or boarde😛
I tried to ski once in high school...it didn't end well. I stood up twice and both times I was laying on my back before I knew what happened.

>Last water skied or boarde😛
About four years ago my friends tried to teach me to water ski...didn't quite work out well. I can tube with the best of them though! I love boating... anything fast and cool is perfect for me. I love screaming across a glassy lake at sunup or sundown.

>What kind of car do you drive:
I drive a '99 Ford Escort that I picked up for $400 because it's a lot cheaper to drive than my main and favorite vehicle...A '92 Ford Bronco. I love Bronco's and I love playing off-road. I also have a '78 Bronco that is strictly an off-road toy.

>How old were you when you first kissed a girl:
I believe I was nine or so, but the first time I kissed a girl and knew why...I think I was fourteen or fifteen. I was a freshman in high school.

>What is the best part of leading the MI:
Working with a lot of really dedicated, cool people. I work with the best of the best in the eMilitary. The people are what make this game more fun. At it's core it's a pretty boring game...lol

>Anything else you want our readers to know?
I'm getting married in rl next May!

Thank you for all your hard work General. We're fortunate to have you at the helm of this great organization. And if I may add, I think your fiancée is one lucky girl!

Check back next week to see who wins the Q3 weapon. Results will be posted here in the Battle Cry.

Prize money comes from my private account so no governmental funds were used in this contest.
