Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.
Translation: According to reasearch at cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be at the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole.

thats so true, jdaersyawlanosay
intetesting, @ jason: what does ioiretnr mean? And what does snilbmarcg mean?
@Dwight:
ioiretnr = interior
snilbmarcg = scrambling
I've already heard this before, but still interesting.
While this is true most people do not read just word to word but by phrases and even sentences. When one has to make the effort to decrypt each word it does significantly lower the value of the message. Imagine an entire article written in this manner? I suspect it would not get read past the first or second paragraph.
@dwight just my point 😃
