Meet the TERRA Alliance & the Big Wigs

In our complex world we have a need of companionship and coordination if we are to meet our goals in a global scale with a successful execution. As we may know these are the formations of Alliances both through legislation and through policy networks. One of the most prominent and strongest of these is the TERRA Alliance previously known as PANAM. TERRA was created as PANAM in December of 2010 to ensure the solidity of cooperation between countries seeking a way out of the two alliance system. It was formed also to provide a formidable force against the growing threats of ONE. TERRA is said to work in peaceful measures with EDEN in their combats against ONE force. To understand a little about our leaders and direction within the Terra Alliance, News Corporation has proceeded to interview the most current leaders that are operating the policy and directives of TA. Here are their perceptions uncut.


SECRETARY GENERAL- Dermont (Ger.)
What is your opinion on what the Terra Alliances goals and implementation should be/are?
“In general Terra is in a good situation. The NAP from Bra/USA with ESP leads us to redirect our dmg to more important battles for other Terra members as well as EDEN. The downside is that France and Germany is under heavy attack by Polandball and Hungary. We won’t back down though. We already have a plan to reconquer those regions back and it will be executed soon 🙂
The current goal of Terra is of course to annihilate polish boni. We cannot let Poland get stronger again. Poland will let ONE MUs accommodate with the boni to profit like USA does with TEDEN. Another goal which was important is the internal communication between HQ-CP and HQ-MU. Tbh we lacked in the recent history to interchange with each other. Now we have a nice gadget to communicate with Terra MUs. Can’t tell you what it is though 😛 Summarized, we are working good together ( yeah it includes Russia!), we are in a good position. There maybe is some negative aspect like GER situation. But I can’t really complain.”
What are your thoughts on Canada and the eUSA’s/Terra relations with it?
“USA is our biggest force inside Terra and I am honored to work with them closely. Their sacrifice to help others out, be it Terra or EDEN, is honorable. Some people say USA is the counterpart of Poland, but i can assure you they are not. Why? First of all they dont use the technique of "polish diplomacy" and second, as I mentioned, they are willing to help others while the chance of losing own battles. Canada maybe isn’t a big player like USA, but they do their share. Just an example http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/Canada/105182 !”
What are your perceptions or opinion on the leadership of the Supreme Commander Vanek26?
“Urgh, the current Supreme commander is a lazy faggot who never shows up and....Just kidding. Vanek26 is an amazing strategist and a big contributor to Terra’s success. Not sure what would happen if we wouldn’t have Vanek26 in our HQ. His leadership to plan and lead MUs to important is pretty admirable. BUT he claims to be the grumpiest. Unfortunately he is not, I am!”
What are your duties that you commence within your position in the TA?
“My job as Secretary General is to watch over the members. If there is a foreign problem like RU-TR I try to mediate or I have to improve the communication between each other to keep them up to date about current plans/situation. Also I work hand by hand with the SC to plan war strategies and have to synch with EDEN about current priorities and other stuff.”
What are your opinions on our current eUSA president and her policy?
“I know Artela since the beginning of Terra when she was UK MoD back then. I can’t complain about her, I rather have full of praises for Artela. Since I am not too much involved in American domestic topics, I only can judge her from Terra’s view. I guess I already answered the question above.”


SUPREME COMMANDER- Vanek26 (USA)
What is your opinion on what the Terra Alliances goals and implementation should be/are?
“Terra is an alliance of friends and brothers, not allies of convenience. Sometimes people forget that, and stray from that, but on the whole, we've done a good job of caring for each other. Terra was set up to be a third way. The realities of the MPP system of the game have hindered that goal, but we do the best we can.”
What are your thoughts on Canada and the eUSA’s/Terra relations with it?
“Canada needs to get its act straight. USA and TERRA are both committed to Canada, but they do need to improve their activity and coordination.”
What are your perceptions or opinion on the leadership of Dermont?
“Dermont is one of my best friends on this game, and he is one of the best players in the game. His leadership internationally is unequaled.”
What are your duties that you commence within your position in the TA?
“I watch every battle that has the slightest effect on TEDEN, plan campaigns, coordinate with EDEN, coordinate with the member states, call for damage where needed.”
What are your opinions on our current eUSA president and her policy?
“Artela is also a very good friend, and her policies are in many ways my policies. We see eye to eye on many things, and work well together. She is a great coordinater, leader, and works tirelessly for us. She needs to sleep more. Stays awake too late. 😛”


DEPUTY SG- Caroline au Marymont (Ger.)
What is your opinion on what the Terra Alliances goals and implementation should be/are?
“Well, I think that primary goal should be to keep unity and help every country, regardless of its size or amount of mastercards with its citizenship.”
What are your thoughts on Canada and the eUSA’s/Terra relations with it?
“Oh Dio, Canada. They had quite a mess in their internal affairs but I think that it has calmed down. Obviously, when their government wasn't active enough to even join TERRA channels, the relationship between Canada and TERRA wasn't that good. However, with Trenton as a CP, I think it is improving right now. USA? Ask their MoFA about their relationship with Canada. 🙂 Of course, I could say something about it, but I think that Americans will have a better view on it. 😃”
What are your perceptions or opinion on the leadership of Dermont?
“Dermont is a great guy with a lot of experience. He likes being grumpy and doesn't like people waking him up at 11 am (tried myself; not something you should try in your households), but nobody is perfect. If there's anyone who can give a good advice about alliance, it's him, big D.”
What are your duties that you commence within your position in the TA?
“Depends on the needs. I've been writing or assisting with writing some TERRA HQ articles, contacting people and other different stuff.”
What are your opinions on our current eUSA president and her policy?
“As TERRA DSG, I think that she has been representing her country mostly very well and her contacts with TERRA HQ are great. As about my personal opinion, I don't think that it's required. 😉”
