Meet the Reform Party - Sir Rex (06)

Day 1,954, 12:04 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Cygnus X1

“Meet the UKRP” is a series of articles I’m going to be writing this term, interviewing both old and new Reform members, finding out why they love the party and why YOU should join!

Here’s number 6!

Today I publish 3 articles, here’s the 2nd - Sir Rex Fleddington!

1: Why did you join the UK Reform Party?

When I was a young newblet, I jumped parties because I wasn’t really involved in politics at that point and you could say it was purely luck that I realized the importance of politics about the same time that I joined the UKRP. I guess you could say it wasn’t why I joined but more importantly why I liked the UKRP more than any other party.

2: What made you stay?

When I joined the IRC channel, I knew that I would stay at this party. If I remember correctly, the first night I joined IRC, I stayed up ‘til 12 talking to old Cyg about his party candidacy and how badly he was going to fail. Since then, I have met loads of funny and talented players like Apronchef and Mittekemuis. I don’t really see it as a political party any-more, just as a big family with Madacaion being the daddy, Butjam being the mummy and Thomas765 being the creepy uncle. Every night we have hilarious conversations about moving to Canada for the LOLZ or Longshotzz being racist.

3: Where do you see the party in the near future?

Although we have our fun, we do get things done. Every member of the UKRP is willing to give up their spare time to help each other out and because of that we are the first choices when it comes to ministerial positions. The party can only get better in my eyes, as long as we have dedicated and helpful members, the sky is the limit.

4: Do you see yourself leading the party in the future?

I wouldn’t love anything more than to take the reins and show the party what I am capable of. For the last few terms I have been trying for the role, but the competition for the top spot is always a daunting one. When you have such influential opponents it can be tough and it should be. I don’t know whether I shall run next term because of college but I know whoever wins will have a hard job at trying to outdo this terms president.

5: Do you have any plans or schemes that the party could implement to make us better or more popular?

I always have some schemes up my sleeve, so look out for them. Recently I have been thinking of reforming the recruitment system to make it more efficient, but I don’t believe the party needs to worry about recruitment just yet as we are getting a steady supply of new players who want to get the best possible start in the game.

6: Finally, give new players a reason why they should join the UKRP 😉

Here at UKRP, we take care of all our new players. Giving them accreditation courses, someone to talk to at any time on IRC and we feed them daily. Once your new players come to UKRP they will never want to leave. Remember if you want the best chance to get into congress or a ministry, come to sunny springs UKRP resort and now when you join you get a free ‘I love Frerk’ shirt along with a ‘I went to the UKRP and all I got what was this ‘cygging mug’ mug. And if you message cyg within the hour you can get a free parker pen just for applying 😉
