MDU: Congratulations Dish

MDU and myself (Tommy) would like to offer Dishmcds our congratulations on winning the election just passed. At the end of the day we all want to best for eUK, and hope for a successful month ahead.

MDU set a lowly target of 15 votes in the election, which would have been around the number of pro-active members. We achieved 34, an extremely respectable number if you consider yesterday there were only 34 actual members of our party (gone up to 36 today) - and unlike any other party, even with coalitions, we matched votes with party membership numbers. This can only mean positive things for our future as a party.

We are currently discussing the issue of democracy/the coalition and will release a statement shortly.

Great job in the election, guys. I'm glad to see that you're doing well. I may have seemed very anti-MDU during the campaign, but secretly, I was rooting for you. Just come back next time with some new policies, and more specifics! and in the mean time, get even more active and propose the changes that were in the manifesto.

Just for the coalition, You really don't need to make a statement if you're just going to say the same things that the PCP already has. That would just be overkill.

Congratualations to everyone involved. MDU did indeed do spectacularly and I was very happy to see a smaller party do so well. Especially considering the whole ballot paper issue! I look forward to seeing more from the party and its members in the future.
