I am honoured to present to you the official Movement for Democratic Unity candidate for President: Big Boy Bulley! Two experienced members fought for the nomination, but BBB edged through and will be officially endorsed for next week's elections.
A dedicated and wise citizen, Big Boy Bulley has amassed enormous experience in every part of life on eRepublik. A keen soldier, he has led the paratroopers for over six months, and has been involved from their formation. Also, he was involved in Aurum, which at its peak was the largest corporation in the New World. He also runs Merchant Traders and a bookie's, showing his experience in the market and his enthusiasm to make life on eRepublik just that bit more exciting. As well as a businessman, BBB is a respected politician, and a Lord. He has been involved since the dawn of the MDU and has been influential in the success of our party. He also runs the honours and military awards systems.We are currently working on a manifesto, to be released in the near future. Best of luck to our candidate: Big Boy Bulley!
On a different note, I would like to congratulate the new MDU Congressmen: Big Boy Bulley, CV James, Richard York, IndieKid, wyli, Horice P Fossil, thehorseltd and Connor Mawn! Congratulations to them - we have achieved a new party record of 21% of Congress! Well done to all and condolences to those that missed out - good luck for next time!
On behalf of our new representatives in government, I would like to voice the MDU's thanks to those citizens who believed in the success of our party and made such an excellent result a possibility. Thank you for supporting genuine, active congressmen in the polls!

What do you mean he 'will', no offence intended here but he won't get in.
The only person who will get in will be the UKRP candidate, no one else has got a chance, Relic shew that you can have the overwhelming majority of active people on your side and still get defeated by UKRP multies, I mean sheep.
We might as well just field the UKRP candidate tbh.
@People's Initiative: There is no need to be pessimistic. Whether BBB will or will not get in is a question to be answered on the 5th February. But I'm not going to sit back while we see in effect an elected dictatorship (not that I hate the UKRP, but that's what will happen if we all endorse them - they will be elected again and again and will never leave office). Whatever happens, the MDU is going to give it it's best shot, cos you don't get anywhere unless you try. And I personally say go BBB!

What FD said, no offence to relic, but if he was completely awesome he would have got past UKRP. And UKRP is even less active than last month.
