My fellow citizens of Yellowknife: I realise I only have this article to catch your attention and gain your trust, but please, hear me out.

I have decided to run for mayor under the banner of the CSD and with the endorsement of the Canadian president. I know that you might be reluctant to vote for someone you don't really know and it may be easier for some to simply vote Shaddy Joe who was already mayor of a region in the past, but I do have experience: I served as a congressman in the Czech Republic and more importantly as a mayor in that country's capital. If you give me a chance, I will do my best to meet the needs of every Yellowknifeian. Here are my major campaign points:
* I will not change anything without writing an article about it and getting the OK of the citizens and my party president.
* I will practise "political selflessness" and give to the region and its people out of my own pocket.
* I will make sure no citizen drops under 30 Wellness (except the inactive ones).
* I will make sure the transfer to V1 will be as smooth as possible for the city of Yellowknife.

I'm looking forward to the election and hope that you will trust me to be your new mayor, I will use no discrediting of my opponents, for I respect them.
