Maxie K for Congress Today!!!

Day 1,039, 10:16 Published in Ireland Ireland by Maxie1994

Good evening readers, I'm back, after the humbling success of our last article, I took some time off went on vacation that sort of thing, and since getting back have been busy with school and planning my run for Congress.

There once was a candidate named Max
He wanted to reduce Ireland's tax
He thought It'd be fun
So decided to run
And promises to bring our greatness back

I decided to run for Congress, because I noticed the same people were getting into office all the time, and I saw how Ireland's Economy, and Society were deteriorating further. I joined the Economic Freethinkers because Erepublik has 3 main elements, one of which is the Economy. Our economy is in dire need of some regeneration, we need to start doing things different from how we've been going so far.

I am going to be standing on 3 main principles,

*Representation - I want to represent the people of North Dakota, in Erepublik elections, they seem to have elections, the person is elected and they never talk to their constituents again until the next election. I want to represent my constituents, I want your suggestions and concerns, so that when it comes to votes in the Congress I can represent you in the best way, as I will know what you want, and I will be working for your interests not my own.

*Economic sensibility - I am pledging to vote against any law, that will harm our economy, while tax is necessary to run an economy, the current rates of tax are much higher than other countries and our wages are lower. We need to start making our products cheaper, so as to make the game easier, make Ireland's market more attractive, and get new people to stay. We need to be focusing on Job Creation, here in Ireland, not wars with the UK. Apart from wars, does anyone actually know what our Taxes are spent on? I bet they're not spent helping new players and businesses like they should be.

*Impartiality - I chose the Economic free thinkers because they were a Centre ground party, they were independent, they were not left or right, capitalist or communist, when you let ideologies get in the way its the people you harm most, I think it's important to put party politics aside, and work together to restore Ireland's to it's greatness.
