First to face the spotlight tonight is Teppishc, who will answer questions on Toots and the Maytals.

Next in the chair is Ayame Crocodile, who will answer questions on Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

And last to be interrogated tonight will be iAdrastos, whose specialist subject is the Aston Villa football club.

Good evening, and welcome to Mastermind. We are now in the semifinal portion of the contest. Tonight's winner is guaranteed a spot in the final, and second place could receive a wildcard. Unfortunately, though, whoever takes third place in either semifinal will automatically be eliminated from competition.

Therefore, our competitors tonight will have to fight harder than ever to maintain their spot in the competition. Also, the question difficulty is going up a notch. Many of the specialist subject questions in the first round were very general. This time around, however, the questions are going to be much more detailed, and much more difficult. There will be 5 questions on each person's specialist subject, immediately followed by 5 questions on general knowledge. The contestants will continue to have 3 minutes to answer the questions. Whoever wins the semifinals will be one step closer to being crowned the nation's Mastermind.

Our first contender is Teppishc, who answered questions on Toots and the Maytals in the previous round and received a score of 7 points. He will compete... in the next article.
