Martin Sunter, former Libertarian Party president, who came to international fame recently after a plot was revealed which implicated him in attempting to lead a revolt in the western eUSA, [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/profile-506321.html]has been permanently banned[/a].

Sunter, who masterminded the [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-635291.html]plan[/a] to form the "New Eden Federation", later claimed it was only a joke on his part, and that everyone else was stupid for not getting it. Regardless of whether this was really a joke or not, Sunter was also accused of stealing over 4000 USD from the federal government through his duties as head of the Department of Education.

Sunter's apparent accomplice through this whole situation was Ikenstein, mayor of Sacramento and temporary president of the Lib party after Sunter's resignation. Ikenstein has been accused of [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/region-173-economy.html]stealing over 4000 USD from the California treasury[/a] during his tenure as mayor.

Sunter had planned to flee the country after his term as congressman ran out, and Ikenstein has planned to flee to Finland once his terms end as well. Between the two of them, the eUS public sector has lost nearly 8000 USD. Regardless of whether the New Eden Federation was a joke or not, a serious crime has been committed, and only one of the perpetrators has been punished.
