Mark Decius for Presidency
Yesterday the party president of Green Liberal Democrats asked if I was willing to be a possible candidate for the presidential elections. I was pleasantly surprised by the positive reactions I got inside the party and I am happy to tell you I will run for presidency on the 5th of October.
Who am I?
I have been an active player of eRepublik since day 108. I have helped building up this country, I have helped it during the merger and I’ve helped it afterwards. I have been a congress member for several terms, I’ve been in the government as minister and state secretary on economics, and an ambassador in multiple countries, a coach, and many other things. But today, I am a plain citizen with the aspirations to become your next president, and I ask for your support.
I have always been a proponent of fairness, equality, transparency and democracy, and if I would be elected to President I will keep honoring those value’s. I will try in the best of my ability’s to be what is needed in this country, and to do what is good for our beloved nation.
What do I have to offer
By voting for me, you vote for a person that is active in the eUnited Netherlands. You vote for a person that is experienced and dedicated and you vote for a person that is upright. I have a lot of spare time due to the fact I am on a sort of hiatus, and this gives me time enough to do good for our Union.
I am a supporter of our Unity, and as a president or not, I will continue to strengthen our Unity by doing what is best for it. I truly believe that our country is made up from all our fellow-citizens, and that every opinion counts to make this country a better place to live in. So as a president, I will try to improve our country, to strengthen our Unity and to make this place worth fighting for! With and for our citizens!
As a president I will do what is in my powers to add value to our democracy, I will try to improve participation of our citizens by broadening our community and by achieving our goals through community efforts, my first project Citizens for Unity is an example of such a community effort.
Do I need your support?
Yes I do. I believe I am able to do good for this Union, I believe that I can, with your help, make this country a better place and I would like your support, so that we together can work on improving our country. Because this country belongs to you, our citizens.

Thank you Slivever. But, I do have to mention, as a presidential-candidate I prefer not to be linked to a certain party. I appreciate all the support I get from other party's, but I try to be a candidate for all the citizens of our Union. As you probably may have read in the article.
