Marcus Suridius - What I stand for

Day 1,231, 04:45 Published in Ireland Ireland by Sean MacDiarmata

Hello Ireland,

Today is the last day before the elections and after putting out not so normal manifesto's over the last few days on Military, Foreign Affairs and Economics.

I want to just write today not about my policies but about myself and who my cabinet will be.

Since joining the game back in March '10, I have been working tirelessly for the greater good of Ireland. I started off as a vocal supporter of the then MoImm Michael Hook and the tough role he was doing, a role I would later do for two months. I have fought in all the forms of Irish Military in the past year from the IDF tank division to being the leader of the IDF for three months where I did some of my best work.

I built up relations with a lot of our now allies like Croatia, Romania, China, Bosnia, Canada, USA, Philipense and many more. I have helped us progress from mere people on the frindge on EDEN to full members and am extremely proud of this and will be until im finished in this game.

I believe in Ireland and her people, we have great minds, great fighters and people who give us a great laugh and come the 5th, if im CP or not ill still be proud to fight like I have before for this nation.

The one thing this nation needs is a very active leadership, since Digits left we have not seen a single article form either of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs so nobody on the forum let alone normal citizens have any idea what is going on with us abroad at the moment. The IA has seen many days with nobody being supplied, this is why I choose for one of my Joint MoD's the one who was always online and working his socks off like I did Reactionist. You can't chose a person for MoD just because you like them, this is why Paschoall wasn't chosen by myself, I like him and get along with him but he just isn't active enough for the role.

As for Foreign Affairs, this is a vital role and thus I have chosen two very active players, one with great experience and one who is showing great promise and a determination to learn.

My government will be formed by very experienced players and new players showing great promise and potential, some have worked in the role I have given them and showed great desire to continue to work hard for Ireland. Some are new to the role but have done things like it in one manner or another.

My cabinet is as follows,
Vice President einberliner
Ministers of Defence: Reactionist & James Ferrin
Minister of Finance: Dubhthaigh
Ministers of Foreign Affairs: Brian Boru & Irasian
Minister of State: James Keiller
Ministers of Community: seanlynch & S1lv3r k1d
Minister of Immigration: Jacques Coustea
Minister of New Citizens: Peter Lyons
A number of the people listed here have worked in the fields I have chosen them in and some are new and will learn from their counterparts. Learning is always needed this is why I have chosen people willing to learn.

I am in the process of chossing a Deputy MoF and a MoImm and will update this when I choose someone.

I believe in Ireland and her people. We have great minds, great fighters and people who give us a great laugh. Come the 5th, whether I will be elected as CP or not I'll still be proud to fight like I have before for this nation.

With the ever changing politics and military scene globally, we need someone who has been there before and held under the pressure. These will be challenging times for Ireland and as four time Minister of Defence I have been there through it all weather it was fighting to take Northern Ireland while also holding North Dakota or my work in setting up the Irish Army with a few off my colleagues, I have been there Ireland and will continue to be on the for front of progress for Ireland.

Be sure to check out my previous articles, Military and Foreign Affairs and Economics
