Manifesto for 4th term in Congress

Day 1,002, 01:38 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Hans Rienveld

I will be running again for Congress and I want to detail below my manifesto:

In the current term I have voted in 11 of the 12 votes that were put to Congress. This shows that I am serious about being a Member of Congress. I also participate in debates in order to influence the laws to reflect how I would like to eUNL. This is very much aligned with the ideas of the party I lead, the Libertarian Social Democrats.

I stand for liberty. This means less regulations and laws. Too many times Congress and government are slowed down by all the laws and regulations that have to be followed. In some cases there seems to be an alternative which is quicker and still allows for the proper checks to be applied. In these cases I would like to see change.

I stand for social policies. This means that I do see a role for the state in eUNL. A role in protecting (UNLIN, Army), providing (State Companies, minimum wage) and planning for the future ahead (pro-actively plan for future scenarios such as V2, eating food rule and anticipating it’s effects).

I also want to me more pro-active myself the coming term. I’ve been a Member of Congress for three terms now and I feel that I have enough experience to be more active in the law-making part of that job. This term I have already written a proposal for reform of the UNLIN and I want to be more active in that way. This also includes my first point where I want to propose changes to the law book to make it simpler and more common sense.

The above shows what I stand for and what you can expect from me. I hope that this convinces you to vote for me!
