LPA National Shield Competition Results

Ok, a frenetic and, I think, enjoyable week is over and the results are in. It's been an extremely profitable week for Ireland as a country, gaining 1900 gold from the event and we in the LPA did our bit to contribute. We had contributions from twenty members which equates to about two thirds of the membership so well done to everyone - I hope you all personally got some goodies out of it!

As explained, the contest was split between the four divisions with the top two in each division winning 2 gold for first and 200 IEP for second. The unsorted results are as follows,



As you'll notice, unfortunately eGov was down for the first day of the contest so we only have results for six days, but I think that gives a fair enough spread. From the six days of results, we did nearly 345 million worth of damage which, pro rata, would be heading towards 400 million for the entire event.

I'll certainly be looking at repeating this contest should we have another National Shield event and I may look at making it a semi-regular occurrence, even if there's nothing laid on by Plato. Prizes will be out later today and I hope you enjoyed the event.
