Looking up and forward, the only directions that really matter

These couple of days we have seen yet another theft from the government coffers. For the fourth time in 7 months money has been taken. And, I'm not talking about some small amount of money. This however, is not the reason why I am sitting in front of my laptop at 7:30am. I am not joining in the mob and going on yet another pointless witch hunt on for "justice" I learnt my lesson last time. For any of you wondering what that lesson was, it was that it doesn't change a damn thing. So why bother? Instead I am focusing, today, on something positive.

Over the last couple weeks charities have been giving out and collecting more than ever. At this time I wish to tip my hat to a few people who are key in making this happen. I also wish I had an awesome hat to tip...perhaps I can borrow Jacobi's fedora 😉 So, a big thank you goes out to TemujinBC, JRC, Coda, the MDP and the possibly dozens of people that help keep HOPE going. You guys are all doing amazing work, yes even you temujin....but you're still a butt.

On that note, and the real reason I am writing this article, I wish to announce that starting two weeks from now I will be giving out some "prizes" to ANYONE who does something amazing for the community. These prizes will range from food, to weapons, to perhaps even a couple gold so you can have a nap on me. I said nap not fap get your heads out of the gutter.

Now I am not announcing this to throw myself in the spotlight. I am doing so because I need a little help with it. If you see someone who has done something that has really contributed to our little virtual community send me a PM and let me know. I can't see everything and sometimes it's the smallest acts of kindness or hard work, that lead to the largest contributions in society...virtual or not. But most importantly I am writing this article to let everyone know that someone is watching and yes, someone actually does give a damn.
