Little People

Day 1,971, 09:47 Published in India India by Uv Ajed

"Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Then join in the fight
That will give you the right to be free!"

"And little people know
When little people fight
We may look easy pickings
But we've got some bite
So never kick a dog
Because he's just a pup
We'll fight like twenty armies
And we won't give up
So you'd better run for cover
When the pup grows up!"

Those are the songs I've always loved and a thought that I abide by, no matter how impractical & irrelevant it is in present time. But it does hurt to see the fire, which ignited a Young India, shimmer at the whisk of power show, elitism and ego clash; as India, once again, finds itself back in its former shell amidst the aftermath of a failed revolution.

Well unfortunately that is the basic rule which governs human nature and forms the foundation of politics in our society, even in real life. In this dog eats dog world, you've got to learn to play it, survive it and live it; no point complaining and whining about it.

But remember that "hope" is the jewel of words that should never be forgotten, as it has the power to transform and form the basis of the next evolution.

Anyways, I just dropped by to ask for your valuable votes and suggestions for a short horror story I wrote,

love it or hate it, if you have some time...do read it.

And yeah, enjoy the game and keep up the good work.

Ciao..
