Life in the eBritish Army

I haven't written a proper article in months, as i never know quite what to say. So i figured that it'd make sense to write about what is probably the main part of my eRepublik life.

The eMilitary. Or more specifically, our eMilitary.

I have been a member of it's command in some form since July 2009 (With the exception of when i took leave from the entire game), so it's something that i think i know a fair amount about. As we could always do with more soldiers, i decided to inform readers what an average day in the eMilitary was like. You no doubt have seen the various military recruitment posters, plastered about our glorious country. But they rarely tell you what is ACTUALLY required of you.
Well let me tell you, there is a lot.

The first thing you need to address is your monopoly skills. I, and many other soldiers and members of command, frequently play online monopoly games. At least once a day, i would say. If you frequently lose at these games, then you are subject to spend 15 minutes alone , in a darkened room, with certain Soldiers who used to be in the eNavy.
"Soap" and "Rope" spring to mind. This is all. Also buttsecks.


After you have perfected such skills, it would be advisable for you to brush up on your Supremacy 1914 skills. This is also an online game, in which you take control of a country in 1914. It is a similarly popular game amongst the eBritish Army, with many different games taking place at once. If you don't happen to be especially talented at this game, then you will be soundly beaten by an Officer, until you improve.



If you manage to pass both of these tests, then if you have time, fighting for the eUK would be a bonus, i suppose.
But make sure it isn't your turn at monopoly when you fight, or you could miss out on your chance to buy the fabled deathspot that is Tokyo.



Hopefully, my insight into the way that the British Military is run may persuade you to sign up.

All i can say is, JOIN THE ROYAL ARMOURED CORPS!
