Lies and Propaganda
Bass Junkie
eAustralia does not need Q5 hospitals in all regions, we do not have the population to support the investment. The 300g that would come from the sale of our pending Q5 hospital would be much more needed for other projects. This money could be put towards buying back WA, towards lower taxes for ALL citizens, or towards enhancing our military.
Quite frankly, I'm ashamed that there are senators that choose to ignore our nation's needs for their own political agenda. One only needs to look briefly at the rhetoric employed by these senators to see that it is nothing but pure lies and propaganda. In the end, I don't care if you vote me back in as a senator for SA, I just hope you vote in someone who actually thinks before they speak.

I agree Bass, we don't really need a hospital in those poorly habitated states - we already have 3 hospitals here which is more than enough for now.
Agreed - No one can really present a good reason for having another hospital in eAustralia. The best argument I have heard is basically "Some of the other territories have hospitals, so it's only fair that we do also". Until I hear a valid strategic advantage for placing another hospital, I would say selling is the best option.
Q5 HOSPITAL FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIA!!!
who cares about WA when we are talking about SA
scotywest
Thane of eSouth Australia
the only reason ive been living in NSW is because SA didnt have a Q5 🙁
Neither agreeing nor disagreeing that there should be a Q5 Hospital in SA, but I feel that one of the reasons why there isn't many people there to start with is because they've moved to the one of the other states with a hospital to be a productive member of eAustralia. Of course, I also believe that 300g could also be spent on other productive purposes
My understanding was that putting Q5s in other states would even out the pop/voting base, which was desirable. If that isn't a priority the we should always look at how the next Q5 would serve the greater good.
Ha ha, the government lying, never! I have been stating this for over a month that the government is all about themselves and not the citzens. Instead, people prefer to write articles about nothing or fake stories. I say lets boot out the senate and start all over again, but that is just me.
We've got to spend 900 gold and place 3 more then the debate about hospitals is closed. We can stop thinking about it, that is the only way people will stop talking about it.
Every new player and there is 50 per day, will open want a Q5 hospital in there own state. There might not a good argument for one, but it will continue forever, until they're all placed.
It's just like the Murray River in RL, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria get that they want and don't worry about South Australia because they think that only 10% live there so it's not worth it.
Well, at least you're out of the tree.
Scotywest, you have lost all respect of mine.
im an idiot, for a second there i thought you meant south africa... lol
Nice article. Short and to the point.
I have an employee that I sent a moving ticket to, just so he could leave SA and join in the wargames.
He sent it back stating he'd rather live in SA and gradually get his health up by buying higher Q food.
I know it's only one, but that's one reason you should have a hospital in all states. The more realistic spread of population will then make the senate more representative. No more getting in with a single vote...
@Invact Holdings :: Agreed.
im sorry, but i agree with PH. I have employees in NT that NEED a hospital, i would possibly move to SA if there was a q5 there as i like to fight to keep my health up...
agree totally exept about getting WA back. we cant fill all the companies there, it would require a masive spike in our population to get WA back, not the gold. for that we can just cut back on spending if we HAVE to.
the truth of the matter is, we dont need WA back yet
I think we should look to strengthen every area of eAustralia, the reality is if we want eAustralia to be more than just a handful or perms controlling what we do it is important we have a proper spread of both power and population. I would support a hospital in each state.
Give it a Q2/3 hospital. It'll be much cheaper but you can still get your wellness up.
There is an argument for putting hospitals in SA in that if a new player logs into the region they live in in rl and can actually fight wars, etc from their own home state they are more likely to stay.
But I still think we should sell it
Why would he mean South Africa? eSouthAfrica already has Q5 Hospitals in all its regions... all two of them.
Oh, so let me get this straight: You would rather help people in SA then WA? (what if they WANT to live in WA?)
It's selfish to think one over the other, even though costs are low.
Wait, if you think about it, what I just said changes nothing.
Pretend this post isn't here.
South Africa rejoices as Ajay Bruno is banned.

Stinson was ajay? Who would've known. I mean rely.
We need defense systems!
..no we don't
I'm sorry, all I hear about is hospital this and hospital that, how about looking at some alliances. At the moment it seems that we are one of the only countries that does not welcome this into great demand! if we look at it this way Malaysia has something like 13 alliances and is a major power force because of this very fact. I feel that if alliances were formed we would not be in the mess we are currently in WA. lets look at the real issues, stop the political lies and lets get our country back up on our feet. If this can't be done soon then we just have more disbandment from our fellow eAustralians who will be looking for a country who has a president that actual has its ecitizens on their top priority!
i agree rander, we can do more than just one thing, hospitals are important and so are alliances!
Tasmania should get a Q5 hospital before South Australia!
joke.
But easy way to pay for it have the states duke it our for the next hospital and the people who pay to watch can cover the cost of the hospital.
On a serious note:
1: It would be a waste of resources/money to give a state a hospital less than a Q5.
2: Unfortunately what people care about affects strategy in game. People care about their home states getting the hospitals.
3: Giving a state a one off Q5 hospital and war games are cheaper in the long run than continuously supplying players with weapons and or food.
4:By providing all the states with Q5 Hospitals it is easier to defend the country as a whole. every place we would retreat to has no decrease in value. not that we can provide enough to defend this country, versus say for example Indonesia, at this time.
5: By providing a Q5 hospital to all regions it provides an easy means for more players to up their combat capability at a significantly faster rate overall. A person in south Australia without the Q5 hospital can not fight as many times in a war game as a person in Victoria.
cheers,

with this it helps the econemey because people have to by moving ticktets
Well, I think you'll find that one of the reasons why SA is underpopulated is *because* it doesn't have a hospital. Granted, 300 g is a lot of money that could otherwise be spent on the WA buyback or on reduced taxes to help the economy. However, for the long-term prosperity of eAustralia, surely we want hospitals in every state and territory.
Nigel, wouldn't WA be great long-term aswell?
If we had WA, we would have more tax going to the government, which could lead to tax lowers.
I'm not sure, and despite strong opinions on both sides of the argument regarding eWA, I'm not sure anyone else knows for sure either. If we actually take the step of recovering eWA, my feeling is that it would be a grand roll of the dice. Players might come from other countries such as the eUS, and the companies might have plenty of employees to spare. Or we might end up with a whole stack of employee-less companies slowly driving their owners into bankruptcy.
Now, because it is a game, I saw we roll the dice and take our chances, and then work our butts off to make sure it works. But I feel there would be a lot of groundwork to lay before we did that. And having a stronger economy (through high Wellness) would certainly be one step we could take. The question is, of course, whether the benefits of a more even distribution of eAustralians across all states and territories, and a higher average Wellness in eAustralia, is worth 300 g.
We don't need to buy back Western Australia
No, we don't need to buy back eWA, but most eAustralians who are also RL Australians *want* to, deep in their hearts. Which is more important?
I recommend that we develop the hospitals, not buying back other places. Make everywhere hospitable.
I reckon we should have the Hospital placed. We payed more to have the damn thing built if I recall, so why not? And if we didn't, plenty of people put a lot of work into it trying to get the thing built. What do we want?
Besides, areas like SA don't have huge populus's BECAUSE they don't have a hospital.
Placing one spreads out our population and helps spread prospective Senators and their voters. Plus, more hospitals will mean more regions that can be considered built and developed.
It's not for anyones own political ends, it's their honest opinion. Hard work done by our citizens and some politicians saw it built, for 300 gold some other country can take away our hard work. Funny thing is, they'll want to put it into some state of theirs. Why can't we put it in some state of ours? Our hospital, our country?
I believe we shouldn't sell it, because we have an honest use for it.
I support a hospital in each State of Australia. It will happen!
