Canadian Conduit - Presidential Address #4
The Push For Liaoning - Today is a tremendously important day. As you'll notice fights have been opened up in several key areas, including Lion King and Rhone Alps. Obviously the major prize here is Lion King - a loss in Rhone Alps and a win in Lion King would still be a positive result for us, if only to make Phoenix that much weaker less another high iron region. Nobody wanted to lose Rhone Alps, but having Simba on our side will be worth it if we can make it happen.
It all started when Hungary was swapping through Austria and Switzerland - it was apparent they were head towards Rhone Alps. This spark set off a much wider conflict, with most battles acting as drains, blocks, or support for the two major regions in question: Rhone Alps and Lion King.
Though we're a world away from these two regions, Canada is very much involved in the fight. The army have their orders and citizens are asked to fight Serbia through an activated MPP in the battle for Voj. Additionally, I opened up a battle against Pays-de-la-Loire as a drain to Phoenix nations, and in coordination with the USA and EDEN, Alaska was retreated and I attacked in order to block the Russians. It'll be very interesting to see how today turns out - it'll likely have far reaching ramifications on the balance of power between Phoenix and everyone else.
AR1ARX's New Low - For the past week or so AR1 has been trying to bait me into a trolling war, and has now gone so far as to use a tribute to TFD as a thinly-veiled personal attack on myself and KyleDR. Incredible.
CND Theft Investigation - The investigation is going well. The person who stole our funds will be caught. The question now is if we'll be able to get our guns and funds back from the admins. If not, and those guns all end up going onto the Canadian market, the government will look towards some way to aid the industry and rectify the damage done. Until then, enjoy the low gun prices and buy as many as you can, just make sure you don't buy from the company owned by Robotic Constructions (if there are a large number of guns on the market from one company, check to make sure it isn't Robotic Constructions before purchasing). We want to make things as difficult as possible for this slimeball. The eye is watching.
July 5th Presidential Race Duke Leto, Jefflav, 1ronman, and Adasko have all declared for the July Presidential Race. I haven't made my official decision yet because I've been too sidetracked with more pressing issues, but I should be making an announcement one way or the other in the coming weeks. Right now I'm leaning towards fighting for a second term. Good luck to all candidates!
Expect updates on the CND case soon - both CSIS and the Executive are conducting independent investigations, and the thief will be caught. Until then, buy up good eCanadian weapons and help eCanada do its part in thumping Penix.

AR1 accused of trolling in his own newspaper? lol. I believe the subject matters in that article were well separated and not confused. Seriously if you had not brought his criticism to our attention I doubt many would of read that far down.

Patar, they were using Pimpdollaz as a distraction to make people forget about the thefts of the gold, the gun company and the lack of transparency.

Ya no kidding. Mega articles going from remembering TFD to trolling and back to TFD is completely inappropriate. If I'm writing something to remember my friend by, I'm not going to stop in the middle to talk briefly about how much I hate Stephen Harper...it might seem a little...say, disrespectful?
We should know by now whether the thefts are more protests against an ineffective government or a foreign enemy taking advantage of an ineffective government and trying to ruin our economy.
I'm pretty sure the culprits don't envy us.

I read the whole thing. The people who commented read the whole thing or at least claimed to. I'm currently the VP of the CPF and have spent some time as director of membership development. Feel free to drop by our forums sometime. As for edits, I meant adding in that last sentence: "If you want to attack me, go right for it; but don't put it anywhere near an article which is titled "Farewell Tyler" and is clearly meant to honour a friend."

Calling AR1ARX's habit of posting rarely but in force disrespectful to TFD is an insult. You would be the one making a mockery of his memory, attacking his friend for writing an article in his memory just because it also casts you in an unfavourable light. If it hadn't been you who was spoken of poorly you'd not have said a word about what AR1ARX wrote. Don't use a dead man's memory as a scapegoat.

Dade is calling AR1ARX disrespectful for doing so. Why? Because Dade himself is being insulted in the article.
If AR1ARX wrote about the ERX Stock system in conjunction with Tyler Dade wouldn't have so much as peeped about it. However, given that Dade himself was insulted by the article, he is in turn is calling AR1ARX disrespectful to Tyler. In short, Dade is doing what he was accusing AR1 of doing, using Tyler's memory as a political tool.

Really, Dr. Pain? Tasteless? Are you like Dade Pendwyn incapable of reading an article that has more than one subject? And aren't you the same person who once despaired over parties having their own militias as the second coming of the Weimar Republic? What's tasteful in that comparison? I take no criticism in what is my creative and artistic writing choices.
And as for the nature of the fight, I told Pendwyn time and again, I would not let him insult Parliament. I'm holding true to my word. And I'm perfectly happy to retaliate against any attack made against me, my publication, my writing, my party. I don't need to get over anything.

To confirm what the president said about the CND Theft, the CSIS is conducting a thourough investigation, purduing every single lead. The investigation is doing really well, and an arrest is imminent.

Actually, Dade Pendwyn, I have precious little. Luckily I write fast, and very rarely. And it doesn't really matter how many people read it. What matters is that I wrote it. That way anyone who wants to delve deeper into the smears against me that you wrote can easily see the truth of the matter. And that's all that matters to me.
By the way, I saw your gigantic temper tantrum in the WGC section of the eCan forums. You're so blinded by what you perceive to be my actions, you've long since lost sight of your own. It's a shame you can't see the truth of it. Your loss, in the end.

It's going to happen. Just sayin'). But really, I think the issue about the theft (third section) is a little bit more important than that?
Also I read all of AR1's comments as well as his article. I enjoyed it, he raises good points while you're busy arguing about his writing length/style/whatever else instead of actually discussing his complaints about you or legitimately defending yourself and explaining your side. You've yet (to my knowledge) deny that you basically badmouthed congress, etc.

And a lot of people have been listening, Dade Pendwyn, and it's clear that it's really bothering you. I understand though, I was against that proposal of yours, so you're lashing out against the most vocal opponent from Parliament for your plan. Makes perfect sense, really. The fact that you are putting this much effort into pointing out Ar1's article and comments and trying to ruin his character shows that you are trying to over compensate for something. This is the same thing that happens in court. You try to ruin the reputation of the star witness so the jury does not believe what they have to say.

PS I have read the entire Ar1 article(AKA newspaper). It was the most reading I have done since high school and I am glad that I did it.

Ar1 did give a nice tribute for TFD based on his in game relationship. His article headline related to his article's main story. The stuff about you was later on in the article, almost like a back page story. You were the one that turned it into the story of the month.
