Let's buy only Canadian products!!!
Edward Edison
Looking at high Canadian export index I decided to find out what foreign products Canadians buy.
Let's see the market:
Food
Q1
USA -0.45 CAD
Q2
Italy - 0.80 CAD
Canada - 081 CAD
Q3
Sweden - 1.21 CAD
USA - 1.30 CAD
Canada - 1.36 CAD
Q4
France - 3.50 CAD
I'm not sure that a lot of Canadians buy food Q1 and Q4, so not having any Canadian companies here is looks not so bad. According to popular Q2 and Q3 food, the difference is psychological 0.01 and 0.15 CAD
Gifts
Q1
Argentina - 1.16 CAD
Canada - 1.16 CAD
Q2
France - 2 CAD
Q3
Canada - 3.89 CAD
We don't have any company on Q2 market and I'm sure we lose a lot of money in here.
Moving Tickets
Q1
Romania - 14.74 CAD
Argentina -14.76 CAD
Canada -20.20 CAD
Q2
Canada - 25.25 CAD
The difference between Canadian and Romanian Q1 tickets is almost 6 CAD. A serious problem for Canadian company, government should be involved.
Weapons
Q1
Canada - 6.97 CAD
Q2
Canada - 10.10 CAD
Q3
Canada -17.66 CAD
Q4
Sweden - 36.30 CAD
There is no problems with weapons right now, but in the future we will really need Q4 quality.
Houses
Q1
Sweden - 99.95 CAD
Canada - 106.05 CAD
Q2
Canada -169.68 CAD
Q3
Canada - 202.00 CAD
Q4
Sweden - 320.65 CAD
Looks like Canadian Q1 house costs as much as Swedish, but still 7 CAD difference might be enough not to buy a Canadian house.
Conclusion
Actually except moving tickets Canadian companies have almost the same prices as foreign. So why do we keep buying so much foreign products instead? Low salaries? Looks like a greediness.
Of course everyone knows what's best for him. But you should know that when you buy a Canadian product you are not helping someone, you are helping yourself, because:
More Canadian products you buy - More money canadian companies have and more productivity they need - that means more jobs, higher salaries - better wealth and much more canadian products you buy - much more money for the companies...
It's like a circle when more money "stays" in Canada + companies earn some ammount from export, so we have more..
That's why I always buy only Canadian products, no matter of how high might be the price. So, please if you decided to buy a product be sure it's Canadian even if you need to pay same extra CAD.
Comments
Agreed that you should only buy Canadian.
I\'m forced to buy foreign as there are no Canadian Q4 food companies (or at least, none with any food on sale).
I could get around this by being set up with a gifting partner, which is what I\'m hoping the Minister of Social Services (i think it\'s called that) will do for me.
Canada has a pretty strict import tax, maybe it should rethink its trade agreements (as I think the gov. has done with the Swedish trade agreement?).
Hey, if you need a gifting partner I could be one 🙂
I always stressed in my articles to buy Canadian.
Unless you are REALLY tight on cash.
Incorrect information
eCanada currently has 2 Q2 Gift companies: Vincents Valentines and Goregifts
and a Q4 weapons company: Larkhill Biological Weaponry
and a Q4 food company: la Cunard Gave
and a Q4 housing company: Black Label Realty
Just pm me (or the national healthcare account) and I will get it done.
Yeah, Adam you\'re right, but I couldn\'t find their products on the market...
I need job 😛
You should PM the owner of some company...
You should buy one of those cheap Q1 tickets and move to a country not in ruins 🙂
@ the honorable Adam Sutler:
eCanada has three Q2 gifting companies. The third is the smaller Great Northern Gifts.
Nice hair on your profile pic Anodos 🙂
Great Northern Gifts!! 🙂 1 of 2 employees!
