Let's not screw each other...

As we embark on creating a new society, I hope we are all of the understanding that we're here because we were sick and tired of the crap that went on in our old countries. We're here for political freedom, economic opportunity, and to start something new, unique! With this said, I want to address a few things that I've been thinking about and I hope we can have a healthy discussion about our future.

First...

Politics
If you're here, you've probably have already been on the forums, if not, get there. You've probably found out that eNZ already has a provisional government, which is great, but you may wonder why certain people are the leaders and how they got there. Well, apparently earlier on there were forum elections. Now I'm not going to go into how that may be seen as unfair for those of us who weren't aware of the forum community until after all of this was decided, I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt that these people are not going to set up a new Elite that control everything. I understand the precautions against PTOs by only focusing on one party and electing the first Congress and CP through forum elections. Is this fair for everyone who might not be aware of these elections, probably not, but it may be the best way. But if we are going to hold elections through the forums, and allow the single party to select Congress, I think we need some assurance that the Admins of the forums and the chosen PP of the party are going to act in a fair and transparent manner. What I mean by this is that I am trusting that the Admins won't do shady stuff like hide forums, remove access, delete/edit threads/posts, and the PP won't handpick candidates in a dictatorial manner. I am not wanting to imply that these people will do such things, its just that we should all be aware of the slippery-slope of our situation here. Also if there are going to be four Admins, can we select them so at least one can be online at nearly all times?

Economics
This is an area that I thought we'd have some trouble, but so far it hasn't been so. I feared that with so few companies, wages would be low, and products would be expensive. This has not been the case. Apparently the companies in eBelgium were just screwing me over. Anyways, I understand people want to be profitable, and I guess there's nothing wrong with that, I just hope we don't forget that people need to live here. Many of us are level 20+ and may not need to work everyday for whatever reason, but people will, and we can't forget them. Let's just be reasonable CEOs.

Military
Not much to say here, let's just keep the public government separate from the influence of the military brass.

In conclusion, let's just work together. This is something new, and we don't need to emulate our old countries. We can do great things here, and we will!
