Let's Bury the Hatchet

The past 24 hours or so has been very turbulent for most citizens of eSweden. We knew a war with the Irish was coming, which we all were looking forward to. The life in the north was beginning to become quite dull to be frank, so a war was what we needed.

Things did not really go as planned though. From out of nowhere a wild NE vote against Russia appeared. The infamous Grubb smashed our plans and eSweden once again turned into a land of hatred and despair. Accusations were thrown to left and right and things did not look pretty for the Vikings of the north when eRussia answered our NE with one of their own. A few hours later when we shared a border with eIreland, they took the advantage of the situation and put a NE on us as well.

There were a few brave souls on IRC that chilly night. When we heard the news, silence spread. After a while a young Viking asked quietly, “What do we do now?” and a wise elder responded with a short chuckle and stated that “Now we wait” The NE-proposal was voted down, and a chosen few were sent to try and talk sense into the Vodka crazed Russians. The statement from eSweden was that Grubb, who had been digesting fly agarics’ (a common drug for eSwedish fools) all night long made a mistake when he put eRussia as NE. But as usual when you try to talk sense into a Russian, things do not go as planned. eRussia’s NE was accepted but eSweden’s NE was not. The diplomacy had failed.

If things did not look good for the Vikings earlier, now it looked REALLY bad and that brings us to the present. We are now facing war against eIreland and eRussia.

So, Alex Brattwurst, what is the point of this article you might be wondering by now? Well, it’s quite simple dear reader. What I want to say with this article is that we need to put all of our differences aside right now. We need to unite as ONE and kick the oppressors out of our country. This is not the time for arguing about stupid things that happened in the past, or fighting over which party will have the most congress members this month - because if we don’t unite now, we might not have a single region left by the 25th.

Let’s bury the hatchet, for eSweden.

I’ve heard that eIreland bribed Grubb with an endless supply of fly agarics’, which made the poor soul betray eSweden. The eSwedish government are considering sending Grubb to rehab.

This is also a great opportunity for recruiting new Vikings to the game. If you have the opportunity to recruit one player, do it. Every man will be needed. Also, keeping this thread on Flashback Forum alive is a good way of getting a steady stream of new players:
