Leo Demidov: Successor to EA Throne
Leo Demidov
Good day to you fellow eIrish (more specifically, members of EA),
As the PP elections draw nearer, I felt the need to make myself a little more outspoken and open. We all know that EA is a fairly small party, but with people of a strong passion to attain one goal through any legitimate means: a strong, united, ONE IRELAND *wink wink*.
I'm a somewhat young player, and I understand that is a let down, but I am by no means naive, oblivious, or ignorant to how this party runs. I know the mechanics, and I'm ready to really step up and push for a greater EA. Keeping that in mind, there are some things I want to push for in EA:
1) EA must push for more players
-Why? Because every time congress elections come up, we don't look for new members, we look for mergers. If EA wants to look like a serious party, we need more members so we can be in congress without help. In order to do that, there are going to be A LOT more articles pushing for members.
2) Activity & seriousness in PMs, IRC, and overall playing will be increased.
- No more spamming party PMs with stupid arguments, mocking people into leaving, or publicly abusing the party's name. The messages and IRC chats must be about improving our party. We aren't large, but we must be independent and mature if we are to grow.
3) EA is neutral, and we must remain neutral.
-We pride ourselves on accepting all ideologies in order to make Ireland progress. Lately, some of that neutrality has faltered. No more, we will be for EA neutrality and be individuals as was designed.
I know this article was quite lengthy for just a PP election, but we must improve if we are to grow, and I am EXTREMELY passionate about EA and its views. I want to see this party grow. But it is only possible with passion and pride at our front, and I, people of Eire Aonair, am just that.
Thank you,
Sincerely- Leo Demidov

I don't know if you are neutral, you have been quite critical to other political ideologies in the past and towards some players. Despite that, I hope this experience will be enlightening for you and you do your best to maintain the values of EA.
IRL, I am far from neutral. I am majoritively right-wing (usually because right-wing people side with my religion). In terms of eRep, I am for whatever will progress Ireland. I like free markets, but communes work too.
Good luck....As EA Party Prior and current Party President i look forward to be replaced from material helm of Eire Aonair...
Throne?
*brings out guillotine*
Best of luck
Fully support your agendas Leo.
@Mike - even if Leo himself may not have neutral views, that's no reason for him to be unable to represent our party and its "aspectral" nature. The biggest challenge to being the leader of an independent style party is always setting aside your personal bias in favour of accurately representing your associates. Take yourself for example - your radical leftist beliefs didn't mean that you weren't able to lead EA - even though many of our members very likely fell at the other end of the spectrum.

@Ian: Very true, all that matters is how he runs EA while he is PP. I can't wait and see!
