Initially, I did not like the idea of a Democratic Liberal (Leanix of UDL) being president, and I still am no where near being a democrat, but I read Leanix's plans in his newspaper, and he has some pretty good ideas for stimulating the economy and re-organizing the army. Although some things I dont like, it's actually kind of okay. I might not agree with anything he said, because It was unclear when I translated it, but from what I understood, although it might not be my preferred strategy of doing things, it seemed adequate. there were things I did not like such as the things he hoped to spend government money on, or at least the things that will cost a little too much.

Additionally, I was confused since it said it would lower taxes, but then it said he would raise taxes, but overall, pretty thorough. I definitely agree with his strategy of raising import taxes to discourage people from importing goods. Like it appears he does, I believe in mercantilism, where you import less, and export more. Although I agree with that, there is a little tiny flaw. It is that if you raise the import tariffs, then other countries will compete with us, since it makes their merchants pay more to sell it in Chile, and so they will raise their import tariffs, and then we cannot export to them. This was one of the causes of The Great Depression. Despite this very miniscule flaw, I still almost exactly 100% agree with it. I definitely agree with Mercantilism.

I also agree with the hospital policy that he set, from what I understood from the translation, since it was kind of unclear and there were a few, maybe a little more than a few things I didnt understand because of the mediocre translation i used, but I agree with his policies for the most part, SURPRISINGLY, since I'M A STAUNCH REPUBLICAN. Sorry for the capitals.

The Weapons for everyone each day, so they can do more damage in battle when one arrives in Chile, that sounds to me like an immense expenditure for the government's part, but it WOULD be nice for a lot of people including me. And his National Library idea, I dont completely agree with, but It would be nice, and would help a lot of people. I mean I was originally thinking it would be another business that the federal government controls, or another branch of the government, giving the federal government more power, and creating a huge imbalance in the branches of government, but then I thought, "Well, The US has the Library of Congress, and that is a National Library!", so i have changed my point of view.

Again, I am not whatsoever a democrat or anywhere near it, and practically always do not agree with their policies, but I am just admitting, although it is very difficult for me to do so, that Leanix has some great ideas, some of them not so good, some of them kind of okay or alright. Also I didn't know what he meant when he constantly said, "ours civic".

Oh and I agree with his defense systems policy. This one I agree with, because we need good defenses to prevent invasion and to help us in wars if any occur in the near future, or even in a while. Maybe even in years, if there is a war, they could help us. First, we should start by encouraging people to build businesses that produce defense systems. This should be the first objective for the defense systems policy, because there is only one defense systems company and it has 0 employees. In order to encourage people to build defense systems businesses in Chile, we should perhaps make it public that whoever starts a defense systems business will recieve a starter amount of CLP and a little bit of gold to start up their business. This should only be a little bit of gold and/or CLP, as the government is quite young and cannot afford too much. This will encourage people to create defense systems companies all over Chile, since we lack such companies. This will in turn give the government more opportunities to buy more defenses, thus making more, possibly better invasion-protection. Although Leanix did not mention anything about the quality of the defense systems, I personally, really prefer Q3 or Q4, possibly Q5 (although the last Quality number listed I would not suggest, because it would be too expensive, especially if we want a lot in quantity, rather than the best in quality, or if we want great quality, although not the best, and in reasonable quantity.This way we would hold many defenses as well as them being good quality, but not being ridiculously expensive-priced). This should be true in everywhere except Zona Central, where I think we should establish at least three Q5 defense systems, maybe more, depending on the price. This I think would be beneficial to us because it is our capital and thus should be protected the most out of all of Chile. This, although true, does not mean that the other parts of Chile should not be protected at all, or that they are not vital. All I mean is that if the capital falls, we fall as a nation. Added to that, I think we should try to add more population to Zona Central, although it has a pretty adequate population, because if we add population to this region, we can therefore have more people to fight the enemy in the very important Zona Central - our capital. We have stayed out of most wars in the world's past, so if we can keep out a little longer, until we make Zona Central defensible enough, so that region is well shielded against invasions, then we can worry about making the other regions more populated, which in turn will supply Chile with more soldiers. When we bring population to other regions, preferably the least populated regions in Chile, they can have more soldiers as well, maybe as many as Zona Central. This is because the more citizens we have, the more soldiers we have. To increase the population of Chile, I think we should decrease the Citizen Fee, not too much, not too little, probably to about 3 or 4. That way, more people will have enough to become a Chilean citizen, thusly increasing the population. This way, although Chile is small, we can still be strong militarily, without having to conquer territories. This would be true because we would have more soldiers which would create a possible numerical advantage, but depending on the enemy we will fight. He did not say anything about all this in his plans, although he did mention adding population as one of his goals.


Although he did not address this issue, I would give Leanix advice to employ Tanks, which are like mercenaries. For the people who do not know what tanks are (no not the war machine type of tanks), I will explain: It is a soldier who does not pledge allegiance to any certain nation or resistance movement or anything, but instead works for whoever pays them the most in cash. You are probably thinking, "imanerd, where are we going to get the cash to hire a tank without going broke as a nation!", but I have an explanation for it. If you hire a tank, which usually holds the rank of Field Marshall, yes it is very expensive, and some countries scoff at the idea, but once hired, he/she will help win a war much easier than without the tank. You are still baffled as to how this helps with the costs. Well, I am getting to that. If they win you a war much faster and much easier, the war debts will be much lower and therefore the country will have less deficit. On top of that, the land you recieve in that war that you gloriously won, will include businesses which will export goods and the country will thus have more businesses to tax and will, in turn, recieve more money to pay off the costs of that tank. Furthermore, there will be more citizens to help the government by becoming congress members and possibly president. As well as all this, it will make your nation ever stronger and it will not need anymore tanks for the rest of its existence, although it would help, and the reimbursement through businesses and citizens and everything will happen the same way. Even further, your nation will have one less enemy to fight, and will be stronger to fight another enemy some other day in the future. Further even more, your nation will have more soldiers since it is larger and therefore has more citizens, which are usually soldiers. This large body of soldiers will include many Generals and Field Marshals, who do a lot of damage.

He did mention dealing with the economy. What he did not mention, which would be helpful to the Chilean economy, would be to lower the inflation rate. Inflation is partially what brought the Spanish Hapsburg Empire down in the real world. It contributed immensely to their demise, and could do the same to us. I would advise Leanix to lower it, so we do not have a similar fate. Leanix still did a good job explaining his economic plans and was very thorough. I agree with his political goal, as well, to bring the GDP up to 2039 Gold. We need to accumulate a mass amount of gold if we want to stay economically safe as a country.

Also, I agree utlimately with his "over 40 vitality" idea, where he promises to give gifts to people who are under 40 health, so they are ready to fight when Chile needs them to, and so their productivity is higher, therefore giving a boost to the Chilean economy. I personally like this idea, especially because I am 20 health, sometimes below it, and desperately need wellness added to my character.

I know, I, too, am thinking what am I doing, complimenting a Liberal. I am not myself anymore. I do not know what has happened to me. I know this is not like me to compliment a Democrat or a Liberal of any kind, but I am trying to be open-minded as people advised me to be. How am I doing? Are you buying it? No, I am just joking. I really am telling the truth with what I am saying. Anyway, so although I dont agree with liberal policies, AT ALL, Leanix, according to what he posted in his newspaper, I agree with a lot of his policies, promises, and ideas. Although there are some that i do not, and some that I partially dont agree with, or do not completely agree with.


And one more thing, from what I understood in the translation, and I think I understood it well, or at least okay, it said he was using an idea created by Raax - the socialist party's candidate for presidency. Although I do not want to judge his idea and say I do not agree with it, although I might, just because a socialist came up with it, I do not think I will agree with it. Additionally, the idea created by Raax, that Leanix mentioned on his article in his newspaper, was very hard to read. I am not saying Leanix used terrible grammar. I am merely saying that the translation service I used was junky. Anyway, as I was saying, I do not know if I would agree with it, because I did not understand it. Furthermore, not to judge the idea just because a socialist came up with it, but socialists and I do not agree at all that much with anything, so I doubt the idea I will agree with.
