Campaign May 2012!

A few days from now are the infamous presidential elections. I, as state media, must remain unbiased for the sake of credibility, and when I say vote for Uros95 or when I say Patar333 is the best choice for president, you must know that these statements mean nothing. Also, the candidates were organized by alphabetical order, if you care.

Patar333:

Party: Anti-Imperialist movement congressman
Military Unit: Swiss National Army
Press Director: A good year
Qualifications: 3x Minister of Finance, 1x co-Minister of Defence for eSwitzerland, 5x Cabinet member in eAustria, 1x President of eAustria, 12x congressmen in erepublik (taken from profile)

War with France:

Over the past few days, the glorious country of Switzerland has declared war on the much smaller and much weaker neighboring country of France.

Rational for this attack is-
Brings us battle for TP medal
Brings us more ONE MPP's and stronger one's
We cannot be wiped off map with support
Chance to get regions or RW

One edited quote by one past Minister of Trolls, Eporadio, sums up what some think of France.
“There are several reasons why France will not invade us, they are weak and cowardly. They are like pigs rolling in the mud. They do not fear us, but they fear themselves. They fear the possibility of conquest. They would rather sit in their hole waiting for the Spaniards than go out fighting, like warriors would do. They have no pride or confidence in their nation. There is no nationalism in France, only acceptance. The French have accepted how weak of a country they are. The French have no heart.”

Sadly, however, not all of eSwitzerland is on board for invading France. Here is one Swiss citizen’s (Penguin4512) response to the attack.

“Wait. Switzerland invaded France? Dafuq???????????? What happened to Swiss neutrality??????????????? we are going to be wiped for the next 20 years.”

Some other responses were:

"Why god why"
"Mother of god"
"Someone shoot me"

But really guys, we got this. This picture proves the power of Switzerland when in attack mode

Taking it a step further, one commander of the Swiss Special forces who shall not be named or identified in the next picture refuses to fight for his country.

Forget him! Onto the Rhone Alpes I say! Straight to the Mordor the French call Paris! On for glory, victory, conquest, and cheese!

Sad face:
Sadly, this I assume is my last article as Minister of Information. I have talked to both of the candidates, and have not found a place in either of their cabinets. This article was written without Mungos95, who resigned awhile back, but did good work as my Vice-Minister, hats off to him. I will miss my short time here, and I hope I can get a job soon before I have to walk around Bern with a shabby coat on asking for Swiss Francs to afford my addiction to candy cigarettes. Anyways, thanks for reading.
