Kitty wants in the Senate. Meow.
Adam Beck
I've been flipping through the cock and bush-filled media the past few days, and I found an intriguing article. Coincidentally, it came from a high-up player by the name of Binda33. The article, entitled "Damn, I can't do it. You'll have to guess the title..." in which she posts a picture of a rooster, declared Louise [Brooks] suggested it. She then ended the article stating she will be running for Senate for the GnG Party.
While the article has some comedic value, there is a hidden message. Instead of running for Senate on something, she throws her announcement in a comedic article with zero information. Binda33 has been in the Senate a staggering 20 times, a commemorating feat. However, one needs to look closer into this and ask why. Why do we need to re-elected you? What will you try to achieve?
Now, some can argue that Binda33 brings experience to the table, but riddle me this: What solid debating has she ever brought to the table? She was non-existent in the budget debate. When, then, Minister of Immigration James Rellori was being called out and asked to resign, Binda stated it was harsh to blame the MoImm but failed to give a reason why. Then later in the same post, she brings a highly useful piece to the debate requesting a lollipop.
Those are a few examples just from this month, but I encourage you to look through the archives yourself and make a valid, informed decision on your own.
Until next time, I will continue to hold our elected officials' feet to the fire and make them accountable for their actions or lake, thereof.

crap like this is why I moved to an e-country where people work together.
It seems logical to me that Binda would state she is intending to run, and that her next article would state the reasons why,
Adam it is good to hear that you are prepared to hold Aus elected officials feet to the fire. I think that there has not been enough searching examination of their actions, the holding them to account.
Just personally I think that while nobody is perfect, Binda is one of the better officials and that there are many far worse/incompetent/lazy/corrupt than she.
I for one will be following your articles with interest 🙂
Sure but no one picked up on me when I posted that self-portrait for a senate election last year.
tbh I'd like to see Binda's senate seat taken by a new player....
Besides she can't be Cabinet and Senate can she?
If I win you can burn me at the stake.
She can be in both but as Deputy PM she is ineligible to hold the office of Speaker or Deputy Speaker, or vice versa depending on the office held first.
oh ok thanks TJ 🙂 I always thought it was any cabinet position = ineligible for senate.
she's doing it for the 5g.
@Arfman: I remember that pic. : D
@Larni, the exclusion only applies to the current holders of PM and Deputy PM at the time with regard to being eligible for election to the Senate leadership. Senators are free to serve concurrently in both branches. IMPV, with the rise in activity now is the perfect time to revisit the debate over this if Senators so choose, but as executive branch service doesn't pay it's often the case for Senators to run for election and pick up the 5g as compensation which is fair for hard workers. From an ethical point of view, that's another story.
