Katy Perry And Her California Girls Defeat Indonesia


Hawaii had fallen. The nation was evacuating California as we waited for the next attack from the Indonesian menace to come. There was an air of panic and fear sweeping the community as many wondered what would happen to our beloved nation. Was this the start of WW IV? Was America going to be occupied like we were for some time in WW III? Anything and everything, no matter how terrible, seemed like a real possibility. Then, suddenly, California was attacked. Americans fought hard to defend our cities but the battle looked like it was going to be a close one in the early going. Then, just as suddenly as the attack had begun, it became clear that America would win. Not because of our amazing soldiers, or our noble volunteers, or our brilliant leaders. No, none of these things saved California. Katy Perry saved California. It seems that the pop singer was in no mood to evacuate when the order had come down. Instead of leave she had gathered her California Girls, one of the most terrifying forces known to man, and prepared them to fight. And fight they did. With their cupcake bras and hair of inhuman colors they fought long and hard until finally the Indonesian threat was turned back. As Indonesia attacks California again it remains to be seen if Perry will rally the nation again, but at the very least she bought us more time to evacuate the state, and for that, the nation is thankful.

Nation Realizes Error In Electing Glove


On Saturday the nation elected Glove as President for this month. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, “We had another election? Enough already, I’m tired of this crap.” Now normally we at ‘The Silhouette’ don’t care too much who is elected President. Usually they have the same basic goals and it’s just a matter of which personality you would more like as your President. This month though the selection of Glove as President may have dire consequences. By electing Glove President people all across the country have been left with only one glove for their hands. Now, in states further South this won’t cause much alarm, but in the Northern states a panic and general feeling of dread is no doubt setting in. News Flash America!! It’s still cold here! Sure, it’s March now, and it’s not as cold as it was a month or two ago. Some of us are even starting to see some mildly warm days. But don’t count on that continuing. It will get cold again before spring. In fact, it’s cold here now. It’s only 32 degrees here in Illinois and with only one glove for my two hands I’m starting to lose feeling in some of my fingers. I could close the window and turn on the heat, but is that really what America is about? Really? I didn’t think so. I guess what I’m trying to say is that when you vote from now on think about what you’re really voting for. Because so help me God if we elected a guy named Air Conditioning in August I’m going to be so pissed.

Rage All The Rage


After the Admins made several changes that people weren’t so happy with we’ve entered a familiar cycle for eRepublik. Rage. Ragequitting, rage articles, and rage pretend revolutions are all the rage right now as players pretend that they’re actually going to do something about the latest stupid changes by the admin. To be clear, ‘The Silhouette’ completely agrees that the Admins have made some less than brilliant changes lately. Many of them make it harder for players to play the game without cheating, or are blatant attempts by the Admin to get more people to pay RL money for Gold and other in-game perks. But stop the drama people, we all know how this story ends. Everyone will get super angry for a little while, publish some articles calling the Admins names and get temp-bans for it. Then, after a small number of people who were already thinking about quitting leave the game, people will go on with their eLives and just accept that the Admins have no interest in ever listening to us about how to make the game better, unless it’s so that they can do the opposite.
