Federalist Party - Why Join?
The Federalist Party
To everyone that does not know me, my name is Duncan Crowe and I've been residing in the eUnited States for a year or so. Recently, I joined the Federalist Party to prevent an ATO, with all intent to return to the AMP.
However, I was strangely inclined to stay in the Federalist party.
"Why?", You might ask.
Well, that's the point of this article.
While eRepublik can be fun sometimes, most of what keeps people coming back is the people that they meet while playing. Sometimes, it is hard to fit in with a community and attain party goals at the same time.
In the Federalist Party, community is a big part of what we stand for. All the members are kind to each other, welcoming them into the forum and making sure that they feel welcome in the community.
When I joined, just a few short days ago, I was able to join the forum quite quickly and easily, gaining access within a day and beginning to engage in the party activities and fun games posted on the forum. The forum is very easy to navigate, and posting could not be easier.
Outside of the forums, the members on the IRC are equally friendly, engaging in conversation regarding many different topics and in many mirrors the banter that occurs on the forum.
So, the first reason that drew me to the Federalist Party was the community. Even as this party boasts 500+ members, the community is very strong.
As one of the oldest parties in eAmerica, the Federalist Party boasts a long enduring message:
Patriotism: The Federalist party believes that the nation should be run by patriotic eAmerican citizens, whether they be IRL American citizens or citizens of other nations, and that each of these citizens is entitled to the rights and responsibilities of such an honor.
In the Federalist Party, patriotism and honor is very important.
Power of Parties: The Federalist Party strongly believes in the weight of organized citizens, and treats this with the utmost respect. This party realizes the goal of a society and works with patriotic citizens in order to benefit the nation and her allies in their interests and goals.
The Federalist party is very willing to work with all eAmerican parties, and believe that democracy of all citizens is important.
Meritocracy: The Federalist Party strongly believes that power should not be based in right, but in merit, hence a meritocracy.
Every citizen in the Federalist Party is entitled to a position within the party as long as they work hard and deserve the position.
While Ronald Gipper Reagan and Chickenguys like to believe that they are the only party that is against elitism, the fact is that many parties, such as the Federalist Party, stand for the rights of the citizen as long as they work at it.
Hate of PTOers: This one is pretty simple to explain.
Basically, those that do not have the interests of the eUSA in heart and instead push for "revolution" to push their own twisted goals, such as Hannibal LA, RGR, and CG.
This ideology agrees with the opinion that people like this should, to put it bluntly, GTFO.
The full platform of the party can be read here.
And, the final reason to join the Federalist Party is our pure awesomeness.
