Mark Wahlberg
Citizens of South Korea,
Now is the time to show your support for this great nation!
Now is the time to prove yourself as an elite citizen!
Now is the time to prove eSouth Korea's dominance in the eWorld!
Now is the time for the eOlympic Games!
By participating in the eOlympics Games, you can compete against eAthletes from around the world for the glory of your country and respect of your competitors! With our BURNING SPIRIT, we, the people of eSouth Korea, will rise to the top of the games!
Please note: Participating in the games requires logging in using your real eRepublik account information so that it can properly track your stats. If you feel uncomfortable giving away information to this third party organization, please don't!
At the eOlympics website, you log in using the same information as you do in eRepublik. It will automatically detect your name, citizenship, and wellness. You will then be allowed to train once each day in your choice of competition. You may also purchase equipment that will be used in the competition. This costs actual gold to purchase equipment, although it is quite cheap.
Now is the perfect time to begin your training!
The Third eOlympic Games just ended! This means that you have the opportunity to begin your training now and be ready for the fourth monthly Olympic Games.

(Once again, don't submit your information on the site if you aren't comfortable. I am not running the site and I don't take any responsibility for anything that may happen to your account, however this is very unlikely because many people already actively use the site.)

This looks interesting.
No Ice Skating or Starcraft tho?
Starcraft not being in the eOlympics is imba...!!!!!
XD
I'm in archery. coz we RL koreans are master archers. O.o
You sure this isnt a scam site?
I can't be completely sure. Had you read the article, you would have seen that I already addressed the fact (twice) that if you feel uncomfortable giving away your information to a 3rd party, then don't.
What is Starcraft?
After I logged in, it said that it wanted access to my account to check my wellness. I hit deny. That just sounds too suspicious. They could check my wellness without logging onto my account.
It uses the eRepublik API, which is made by the admins to be a secure way for 3rd parties to access your information, so it's pretty much guaranteed safe, but if you don't trust it, that's your decision.
This could tell you more about the API: http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/ERepublik_API" target="_blank">http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/ERep[..]k_API
This paragraph (taken from the API's wiki page) explains it pretty well:
"The second major part of the API is the OAuth system that allows tools to donate money to and from citizen accounts with the citizen's permission, confirm a user's eRepublik identity and acquire non-public information about a citizen (again with his or her permission). The purpose of the OAuth system in eRepublik is to allow this kind of restricted actions without the end-user having to disclose his or her account details to a third-party site - all actual authentication is done on the eRepublik servers.
Examples of OAuth usage are referendum sites and sites requiring payment in eRepublik Gold to use."
