Job Conditions Day 949

Day 949, 10:54 Published in South Africa Sweden by Ari Lumumba
Notice : Australians are going to be flooding the markets in the next several days, taking up jobs and buying goods. Please post job offers and list products to supply the increase in demand. We want to help them not fleece them.

The Dept of Trade has been monitoring the working conditions for almost 2 months now and I hope that the data trends presented here are of some help to both new citizens looking for what industry to enter as well as company owners deciding to open or close.

Data presented in this article was all taken in the past 15 days. Wages are rated to the gold value on the day they were taken so inflation is not a factor.

Our land companies are still paying out high wages to attract more employees. It is a very good industry to enter as a young citizen, but be careful not to work for any company higher than q2 if you are new.

And manufacturing is seeing a continued downturn as wages, particularly in higher skills, fall. Consumption of local goods is not high enough to employ all the local manufacturing workers.

The construction industry is broken and basically defunct as a whole. It is represented by 2-3 companies sporadically entering the workforce. I would not advise opening or working in this industry in eSA.
