To my dearest citizens of the United Kingdom,

For nearly two years, I have been your humblest servant. I have not been a big player, I have remained light hearted and I have kept backstage. You will notice I rarely appear on the cabinet teamsheet, and I have no CP medals to my name. It is time to change this. It is time for Joachim von Bremen to become the man he was born to be. I am going to step out into the spotlight and deliver the performance of a lifetime.



This article contains the entirity of my vision for my presidential term. No splitting up the manifesto into parts, no complexity, no frivolent uselessness.

1. Continuity

As much as possible, my term will continue smoothly on from jamesw's term. It has been a fantastic term and he is a good example to follow. The structure of his cabinet will remain in place, that is to say:

President/Prime Minister
MoFA
MoF
MoD (redesignating the CGS)
MoHA
MoC
MoT
MoP

The use of the phrase 'President/Prime Minister' is not to allow for regional deviations on the term. I will be equipping my cabinet with both a President (me) and a Prime Minister if elected. Jamesw has agreed to carry on in this role and he will be passing me his expertise. Thus if anything goes wrong, you are entitled to blame Jamesw.

I will also surround myself with further expertise in the form of a team of Staff, made up of previous CPs and other great guys. They'll sit in an IRC channel with me and tell me what to do.

Cabinet Applications

Do the usual thing and PM me in-game or on the forums if you want to fulfill any of those roles. I will give priority to people in the current cabinet setup.


2. Do you like my style?

With a lot of the day-to-day management delegated to Jamesw and my staff, I will act as button pusher for their wills as far as the game mechanics are concerned. As a figurehead, I aim to

That should really be enough, as people seem to generally regard that as a good thing. I will run a series of lectures on the art of trolling, and possibly found an academy for it, with Tomazim as Professor. Keep an eye out for this: the lectures will be for the benefit of not just eUKers, but could really help out a lot of the EDEN boys who consistently fall at the seemingly impossibly high hurdle of a succesful troll. Overall, it will improve the quality of our articles and comments and make the country a more cosmopolitan, intellectual place.

Is this a strange direction to take as CP? Perhaps. But of all the CPs past, who have adopted varying levels of intense seriousness, how many have succesfully guided us to become a world military or economic power? We all know the answer to that far too well. That is not my aim. I aim to turn the UK into the intellectual capital of eRepublik (with free tuition fees, too). People from around the world will keep an eye on our fruitful media and devastatingly badass comments. We will be an artistic whirlwind - the avant-garde of portraying pure awesome in textual form.

Most of all, I will refuse to ever let stress get to me. Being CP of the UK should be an easy job. I will not allow it to be anything else.

IS THAT IT?!?! Yes, that is it. I need say no more: you know who I am and what I do. Now vote with your hearts and fight with your balls.
