JLP 2nd Plan of Action - Foreign Policy
As many of you know japan is part of the alliance commonly refered to as FIST, some of the problems i can see with this alliance are summed up as such, as of yet the FIST security forces to the best of my knowledge are not yet organised and will probably not be as gold settlements are preferable. In my opinion the FIST is a little too unorganised to be considered a true functioning society, alliances such as the NA and PANAM are much more well established and better at doing their job, i know this from personal experiance as i have dealed with presidents and nations from these alliances myself.
There is also the ever looming problem of Indonesia and Pakistan, while great allies to have, they are known to serve their own interests over those of their own allies and will fight anyone who aligns with the NA. This means that they may never be the most reliable of allies, this coupled with the fact that they are the dominant forces in this alliance could prove prolamatic for Japan in the future.
Our stance with the nations of the world are as yet untested as we have not yet participated in a war or diplomatic move that alienates countries around the world (except the NA of course)
Therefore if elected President the JLP will focus on a number of things that are available because of this unknown stance of ours, these plans are outlined here:
. Help our neighbouring nations, such as Thailand, who are currently suffering from a lack of workers and a worsening economy.
. Strengthen ties with FIST nations and attempt to gain a major influence in the alliance itself (as we currently are the smallest (interms of population) nation)
. Help shape and lead FIST into the future with our ideas and plans at the forefront.
. Position japan positively on the world stage.
. The signing of NAPs with nations who can possibly threaten us the most.
. Gain the trust of nations and presidents around the world.
Thank you for the wait and im extremely sorry for it, because of this it means tthat these plans of actions will be produced more over the coming 13 days.

This is real nice Foreign platform. I think what your trying to say is we need to take Japan to the next level. We need countries to look at us as a formidable country and not look down at us....
You are wrong about Indonesia being a problem, they have always shown to care for the small Asian countries around them.
Its true that FIST has had a slow start, but we had to wait until the new governments were set in ( Turkey, Iran, Indonesia ) and the forum was setup. I have been messaging presidents, about how it was going and especially the Indonesian President, because it was their job to make a FIST forum. But they decided to also renovate the Indonesian forum, so it took longer.

Well there isn\'t much i can say about foreign relations, its a small subject unfortunately, though we will prefer to avoid war directly if possible,.
Foreign policy is always going to be the same across parties when we are so cemented into an alliance, like we are to be honest.
Here\'s the thing. Many people try to shape their country or even this game into the RL replica. And note that this is the \"New World\", new ideas must be thought of. So we have to be innovative in this situation. Establish an eRepublik standard for many aspects of this game. This is kinda hard to explain on the internet. Unless you are 100% sure you know what I\'m talking about, please dont quote me.
