Mentoring Program
New citizens can contact Sempai-Kouhai Program in game, they will be assigned an older experienced citizen to aid them rise though the lower levels and find their way in eJapan.
This service is run by Metic, the Secretary of Education.

Skill 0 Jobs
Provides 3000 Skill 0 Jobs in the eJapan Market at Minimum Wage. It's purpose is to be a backup to the regular job offers so that even in a baby boom, new citizens can find employment.
Anyone can contact Japanese Interior Service in game to request that a Skill 0 job is opened for them.

Emergency Gifting
The Skill 0 Manufacturing jobs have a side effect of producing Q1 Gifts.
Any citizen who is over lv5 and below 40 wellness can contact JIS to request gifting up to ~40 wellness.

Emergency Food Stockpile
The Skill 0 Land and Manufacturing jobs may also produce Q1 Food. This is kept in a stockpile to provide food if Japan comes under economic attack.

Wiki Editing
Through the Japan Homepage, the ministry frequently adds tutorials and other information about eJapan to the eRepublik wiki.

Ministry Newspaper
Regularly advertises the Ministries services in the form of the Education Magazine

Citizen of the Week
A fun way to organize contributions to the Japan Homepage and recognize special citizens.
