Jarrell for Congress in Florida!

Hello All,

It brings me great joy to announce that I, Jarrell, am currently the official candidate for Congress in the state of Florida for the United Independents Party.

I would like to tell you a little bit about myself as well as some of my views.

Myself:
Having started eRepublik only a handful of months ago, I would definitely be a fresh face in Congress. I have worked every single day of my eRep life, except one day this last week in which I was moving in RL. I have trained and fought for the eUSA Military since I was able and have proudly served the nation. I recently obtained the rank of Colonel.
My newspaper, The Lickamai Post is my baby. It's my guilty pleasure, sometimes writing articles just to make people laugh, but mostly writing articles about the current situations across the world.

Beliefs:
I believe that a country needs to have strong leadership, which I believe we currently have. A country is defined by those who run and live in it. As long as we all stand strong together, the eUSA can get through anything. We have fought off PEACE for a long time now and have shown the world that no matter what (we were down for quite a while there), but the eUSA will stand strong!

I believe in brotherhood. Brotherhood is the belief that all people should act with warmth and equality toward one another, regardless of differences in race, creed, nationality, etc. With strength in brotherhood, there is nothing we can't do. If we look past one anothers differences and work as a team, there isn't an enemy in the world that can take us down. And I believe that the last few months are solid proof of this.

Taxation:
I believe that taxes should be justifiable at all times. During war times, it's understandable that taxes will raise on certain products, and during times of peace, taxes should be reasonable with the current economic situation.
