NOTE THAT SOME OF THESE PLANS ARE TO BE DONE ONCE THE eCRISIS IN THE ECONOMY HAS BEEN RESOLVED – SEE JUP ECONOMIC PLAN FOR HOW WE ARE TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEMS THERE
1. GOVERNMENT COMPANIES – To be done once crisis has passed and they are reopened
- Each Q1 trainer (including the contracted) will receive 750 JPY for the funding of wage once the crisis has passed and they are reopened.
-Trainers will be worked on so that they either break even or create a profit for the government.
- Maximum pay of any workers at a trainer is 5JPY & any worker above 3.00 skill will be fired - to promote these companies to be trainers only.
-Government Food company will create a stock of 800 food in case of eFamine (as we had a few months ago).
-Government companies will be expanded to sell on foreign markets in areas where our help is not needed in our domestic market.
-Training companies, such as the hospital (and possibly others) will be sold to the highest bidder as these areas are not essential and will not be needed in the future.
2. ECONOMIC POLICY
- Minimum Wage will be imposed at 2JPY
- The National Bank will keep records of what it has spent, so this can be clearly seen by the general populace.
- Using the monetary market, we promise to increase our GOLD reserves to within 700 to 1000 units in this term. (Over a period of time of course to make sure our currency isn’t weakened)
- Trade Agreement will be sought to encourage foreign investment and domestic investment in foreign markets, we hope this will come from allied nations.
-Keep a stale and balanced JPY on the exchange market (probably 1JPY = 0.028-0.030gold)
-Appoint an Economic Minister
-Ensure all markets have reasonable amounts of produce to offer at good prices.
-Provide gold loans to upgrade private industries
-Provide JPY support for new and upcoming companies
-Help keep a balance between Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 companies.
- Work together with everyone in the country to provide a balanced tax scheme. Which will benefit the nation.
-Set up resource companies in the National Bank of Japan in the areas of grain, to ensure those markets get constant influxes of goods.
- Import natural resources we cannot provide for ourselves e.g. oil, diamond etc. – This will be done by either setting up our own companies abroad or using foreign exporters.
3. SOCIAL POLICY
- Begin a constitution for Japan that will be the foundation of our nation.

- Set maximum number of terms on any man to be the presidency for (probably 2 or 3 terms but that is up to debate)

- Have a different citizen for every ministerial position to encourage involvement.
Ministerial Position will be as such:
-Vice President – Will be Government Spokesperson, will have access to all SOs and will help with the day to day running of the country.
-Defence Minister- Will have access to Defence SO and will organise and lead military forces of Japan.
-Eco/Bank Minister –Will have access to Bank SO and will advise the government on the economic situation in Japan.
-Health Minister- Will have access to Gifting SO and will distribute gifts.
-Employment Minister-Will seek employment for those currently unable to find one on their own.
-Police Force- (See below)
-Intelligence Minister- (See below)
-Worker’s Union Leader- (See below)
-Constitution Minister – Will write and reform constitution.

-Create new government departments to help with different aspects of our country.
-Increase the amount of Q4 hospitals in the country by 3+.
- Increase the number of defence systems in the country by constructing our own with the recent investment in this area.
-Release a fortnightly report that will outline what we have done over the past 2 weeks.
- Government officials will be given a wage for their services.
- An Employment Minister will be used to get new citizens into whatever field of work they desire.
-The Gifting SO will be administered by the Minister of Health and will give out gifts to new citizens with low wellness and anyone struggling to keep their own up in general. Hopefully this can be done once every week.
- A Worker’s Union will be created to ensure that employees are getting wages relative to their skills. To be part of this organisation and have protection under the government workers can sign up by adding the Worker’s Union leader (yet to be decided) as a friend and sending him your current employer and your wage.
- A Police Force will be created within Japan to root out multi accounters within Japan and have them banned.

5. FOREIGN POLICY

-Aid allies/struggling countries with domestic and foreign problems in any way possible.
- Promote PEACE whenever possible.
- Assign Diplomats to countries and decide on a permanent Foreign Minister.
-Resign MPPs when they expire during the coming month.
-Find solution to the "South Korean Problem"
6. DEFENSE POLICY
- Create a permanent and ready armed forces that can deal with military problems as quickly as possible.
- Form a Home defence and a Mobile Defence force for foreign emergencies.
- Set a clear budget for our armed forces.
- Create a clear military structure.
- Arm our forces with the best equipment and ensure they have as much as possible to do the job.
- Form an Intelligence Ministry, that’s job will to infiltrate enemy nations through spy and counter spy networks (optional, dependant on availability of citizens). – INCULDES REOFRMING CURRENT JAPANESE SECRET SERVICE
7. FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY
- To ensure we are doing our job correctly, every fortnight we will produce an economic report that will outline, the state of the country, how much money we’ve spent, where it’s been spent and how we have used our cash reserves to better the country.

Sorry that both parts are quite long, but i think you need to know everything to make the right decision.

I do not like it. I personally think the minimum wage should be lowered to 1 Yen per workers, and I feel many of the government sponcered companies should be sold and be privatized, except for hospitals and deffence companies. Each private companies can make their own training companies and such. No need for government to step in. As for example, for last weeks my company were providing basic work for peoples who lacked any skill, and were laid off, to let them gain atleast some land skill, so they can advance into other companies. This process is quite profitable, and by allowing government to take it over, you kill the bussiness, and the possible money making process, which govrnment can then make money by taxing. Loan plan is bad, and will only lead to another shaky economy. This plan is short sighted and will just post pone another economic crisis.
Also, NO UNIONS! This will only cause hardship to our economy, and make us not competitive. The world is big gentlemen. It's not the secular society of Beta anymore. It is the time of globalization, and Union will only cause us to get behind the world economy. (to bad this, let me tell you about some group of players who wanted Admins to make working days to 5 or 6 days because of their religious activities. Remember this is only game, and incorporating such thing will only make workers ask for absurd thought.)
Over all, I do not like your economic policy at all. This will just create another build up for another crisis.

Dammit those were some long comments, i'm going out in about 5 mins so i'll have to respond in about an hour. Btw just saying but this sort of interaction is exactly what i was talking about, we're refining plans over time to make them as good as they can be.
Almost forgot, Akki, i'm not selling my companies because they're losing money, they're infact just breaking even, i'm selling them because once i do i finally break the 700 gold mark 😉

I'd also like to thank the JLP for their support for the Presidency.
Personally, i would prefer that a private entity offer loans instead of the government. I really think we need a private bank to do these things for us. Plus, this adds one more use for money. People could then invest in the bank which would dispense the loans to people in need. Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure about the demand for loans in eJapan.
@justinm Because of our small population i think Private banks wouldn't survive alone tbh.
I had the same feelings as well. So I think it's time the National Bank of Japan actually act like one. I have some ideas about how we could run the loan system through NBJ. I can discuss them more in case that program pushes through.
Anyway, who do you think should have control over NBJ?
Should the president have control? Or should someone else have control?
I was thinking Economic Minister could run the bank, though the president should have access aswell.

On the matter of the Japanese Secret Service (I saw you mention reforiming it), I personally believe it has no real use. A polie force should be more than adequate. HOWEVER, I am curious as to how you plan to reform it, especially in relation to the following questions:
1) Who will be the leader of this force? The President or some other authority?
2) Are they supposed to act in secrecy or will their identies be made common knowledge?
3) How would the information they gather be treated?
4) Who is in charge of verifying their finds?
There is a difference between Police Force and Secret Service.. and in this eRep, if we have the Secret Service we doesn't need Police Force.
1) Secret Service should always serve the President, no matter which party he came from.
2) The name explain it all : Secret
3) Depends on the President
4) President, then should be passed down to the Congressman.
Well that is my answer, of course Fonti have the real answer.
I believe a Secret Service is important. Anything related to our nation National Security. And according to Fonti article I believe our Secret Service will not only be used for domestic problem.

I understand that is your opinion, but if I might say, the police force we had established would be meant to chase down multi's (and perhaps resistance efforts), but the secret service in its current form is unacceptable. TheAgent007 scandal was improper use of the Secret Service (be aware this is just *my* views and proabably not the views of my fellow party members as the scandal involved our member and former president King Waseem). The Secret Service was used to completely ruin the credibility of a person when said person posed absolutely no threat to eJapan. "Conspiracy to Commit Bribery" shouldn't be made public knowledge as it was a party issue. If you want to say the *party* as a whole is corrupt, that is one thing, but once again the Secret Service was used improperly. I say we abolish it. We are the weakest country in the world militarily, we are in an economic crisis, and our citizen count was significantly reduced with v1 (both because of multi's and un-satisfied players). This is not the time to begin delving into the eLives of other players.
You need to understand that the fact of any bribery attempt to any congressman is very dangerous to National Security.
Even though I'm Korean, if any votes for independence for Korea comes up, I'm gonna have to disagree, because unless I'm wrong, most of the Korean that played this game quit after having South Korea "occupied" by the Japanese. Until more Korean citizens join...
