Japan and Russia
Dokomo
For over a year now, Japan and Russia have been allied through PEACE. For the past few months we have continued that alliance through our MPP. And with Russia leaving PEACE I chose to continue that MPP to show our commitment to the defense of our allies.
That, however, is the key word. The defense of our allies. What Russia has done today flies in the very face of our Righteous Nation policies. A close friend to many in Japan, China has done nothing to warrant the aggression that it now face. While not as formal as our relations with Russia, people in Japan know and respect their counterparts in China and we maintain deep bonds with them.
Thus, I am ordering our military to follow our Righteous Nation and act in defense of China, a good friend and ally. The Japanese Imperial Navy has set sail for Beijing Harbor and our Airborne Infantry will be dropping into Inner Mongolia soon. I remain committed to the defense of Russian territory, but stand in opposition to their advances in both China and North Korea. It is my dearest hope that a peaceful settlement will be reached soon.
On a side note, Today's virtue of Bushido is Yuuki - Courage
Yuuki has two kanji. The first is yuu, which means courageous, with the important component of chikara, the symbol for strength.
The second kanji is ki or energy.

I WILL MOVE THERE IMMEDIATE AND KICK SOME RUSS BUTT!!
*applaud*
I was one of the few voices of dissent on the MPP vote, and I stand by my original assessment, eRussia is too unpredictable as an ally. I believe we should come to the defense of eChina and even consider an MPP with eChina ASAP even though it will probably result in the loss of the money we invested in the MPPs due to the "friend of a friend" cancellation rule
On a separate note, I do applaud President Dokomo for leading us to follow the righteous nation philosophy

i want protection, i want to be a righteous nation.....
Good Bye NK!
Isn't it dangeourus?
As Akki has said before, we must look out for the well-being of our friends and be willing to make difficult decisions. Looking only for what the advantage is to Japan is not fitting with Bushido. Our ideals are more noble when we put them into action.
Bushido > Seppuku ?
Voted.
The President that came to Japan after his country sacrificed itself against Russia now wants eJapan to fight Russia...
All fine and dandy, just as long as Russia, upon signing the pact, knew this would be our stance. 🙂
Thank you Japan. eChina could certainly use all the help we can get.

Walorm,
Russia was wrong then and they are wrong now.
I support your efforts Mr. President.
see you on the battlefield
Good Bye PEACE!
~hyuu~
I agree...i am new to this game but love it and will be a permenant member....lets defend China and kick out Russia...Although i hope Russia backs out and peace can be obtained quickly.
Walorm, I love how, when you troll every article you can get your mouse on, it always seems like, even though you're trying to insult the government, you're really just trying to make everything about you. I think you're just mad because no one has given you your crown yet for being such a drag, er, uh, I mean drama queen.
The irony of Walorm it's after robbing the country he's trying to comment on the quality of work done by other people.
Who was that Walorm? I don't know of any President that came to Japan after losing their country. I do know however of someone who lost their country, stole its treasury and still has the nerve to post comments in their news.
i am a supporter of the righteous nation philosophy, and Russia is clearly the aggressor here. Reiji Mitsurugi has pointed out in the national forums many times that it is in our best interest long-term to have a solid relationship with China, so this move definitely has some bonuses. at the very least, our president has been clear about his policy and the reasons why which is a big step up from what we had previously.
i supported dokomo in the last election, but if Russia decides to turn on us while we do not have mpps with another large power, president Dokomo risks looking a lot like Drago and north korea. i hope that does not happen because we finally got rid of one bad government.
where is russian text?
