Japan - always and forever

Day 5,276, 05:22 Published in Japan Republic of China (Taiwan) by Akane Homura

Dear Japanese citizens and friends

Let me start by thanking Fyr for his last term as the president of Japan and for the work that he has put in during that time. Generally, he was an attentive president and took his role seriously. He stepped up when not many others felt like running the country, and he also took care of fixing issues if he noticed them or was made aware of them by other Japanese citizens. I want us all to take a moment and applaud him for his work ethic and for making sure that Japan is continued to be taken care of.

Running for CP is an experience that I am doing for the first time so bear with me. I still take this job seriously and will try to continue working for Japan. While it is impossible to always please everyone, I believe it will already be a good step as long as many are happy. I do not have the experience of my predecessors, but I am like you, all Japanese at heart and want the best for our country.

While a president has the final word, a leader should not make decisions alone. We are one country, one nation, and thus everyone's voices shall be heard no matter what party people are in. We should represent one united Japan and continue strengthening our country while giving us an excellent outward presentation. Despite our differences, we all have one goal: A strong Japan.

I have been thinking a bit about what my agenda can look like and the path that I am contemplating on the path to take for Japan.

• I want to continue to keep our training wars running. I believe that the current number of training wars is good to give everyone a fair chance of getting some gold.

• I want to keep the JUDO program. While daily missions have been added to reward active citizens and more experienced players can quickly get them, I believe that newer citizens could still struggle to reach all the daily goals. Therefore, JUDO is a valuable program to reward their dedication and motivation further and help them establish themselves quicker.

• While the next MoE will have a great degree of freedom, I want to encourage the next MoE to continue releasing more articles about various aspects of Japanese culture. These articles seemed to be quite popular with foreigners, and getting publicity for our country is always good.

• I want to encourage the next MoFA to continue fostering the current partners' relations and establish general contact with others to let them know that Japan is active.

• I want to encourage the next MoD to continue to take care of the JUDO program and think about possible additional programs.

Additionally I want to if possible get one advisor for each minister and preferrably give those positions to more politically unexperienced players to make them feel comfortable applying for such a role in the future.

• I want to keep the established advisory committee with Darshu and IArhangeLLorDI as members if they are willing. I also want to extend this offer to other active leaders who are willing to join this committee. The exchange of ideas and views is valuable, and we all live in the same country.

May the elections be exciting!
