IUP Vote Severin/Public Endorsements

Day 571, 07:37 Published in Ireland Australia by Severin Organization

Severin here announcing I will once again be running for Party President of the Irish Union Party. The Irish Union Party has made tremendous progress in the last two months and if re-elected I will ensure that this progress continues. Before I took over the Presidency two months ago the party had 150 members and falling, our forum was pretty much inactive, the party had virtually no leadership, we failed to attain the Country Presidency, we suffered a blow in Congress and were subject to many attacks. We now have over 200 members (and growing), a new and very active forum, sound leadership which allows all members to participate in party decisions, we succeeded in getting the Country Presidency twice, we have more seats in Congress than any other party and it has been a while since I seen an IUP attack in the media. I will not take sole credit for all of this and without the help of some very dedicated members this would not have been possible. I proposed to step down this month to allow some of these prominent members to come forward however there wasn't much interest and more than a few asked me to run again. So here I am offering you my time and devotion once again. While strong leadership is essential, we are all in this together, everybody in the party is equal and I thank all who have contributed to the cause. This is the bright future I spoke of months ago however I am confident it can be even brighter. There is no limit to our strength and getting more people active on the forum, attracting more members to the party and cooperation with other parties are just some of the things we should strive for this month. I have written many articles outlining such ideals and have spent hours upon days working on behalf of the Irish Union Party. If re-elected I promise the same commitment to the party.

As I have done last month I will make some brief public endorsements for other party president candidates here (I don't care whether it is my place to do so or not, I am free to express my own opinion).

Ireland First Vote Bryan O' Shea: Not only has Bryan been a dedicated member of IF for a while now, he also put forward an impressive campaign and has proposed many good ideas to improve the party. I have a lot of respect for Pip (as does Bryan) however I am confident O' Shea is the best man for the job.

Fianna Fail Vote enoofu: enoofu has been a member of Fianna Fail longer than I have been a citizen of eRepublik (except for the brief ICF take over). Along with Niall-H he has put forward an impressive party manifesto and I am certain he will make a great party leader. The young and enthusiastic bunnieman has certainly proved his loyalty and worth to the party however I feel it is high time enoofu had a shot at the FF Presidency.
