It's been a while since I've used this paper

Day 1,168, 13:30 Published in USA USA by Harrison Richardson

For the record, yes I'm still retired.

And for the record, no, I didn't write that last article. I mean, come on, that was pure brilliance. I couldn't have penned that in my wildest dreams. Well done Sire Kreams.

I have just a few things to talk about, but it was important enough that I decided to write about it.

1. The Presidential Election

If you're going to vote for Emerick, you better make sure Publius is his VP or nothing good will happen the entire term. Whoops, I went there.

2. A militia?

When I retired, I asked a few of the users on the forum what to do with the roughly 200 gold I still had left in my account. They told me to buy some food companies and start forming a militia. It seemed like an intriguing idea so I ran with it. In a tribute to One Eye, I'll be forming an official militia and registering it with the US Government fairly soon. We're on the lookout for a CO, so if you're interested, PM me on the forums preferably.

3. We have a wiki?

Yes, we do:

http://wiki.eusaforums.com

This is the main reason I'm writing. When I heard that the US was forming it's own official wiki, I became pretty excited. I've always been a wiki nerd (I was one of the original Uber Editors on the official Erepublik wiki) and thought it could provide an invaluable resource to our users, especially new ones. It will serve as a hub of our national intelligence and as an archive for government actions of the past. You have to be able to look backwards before you can start to look forwards.

Therefore, I'm making a pledge today of 100 gold to users who make constructive edits to the Wiki. I'm registered there and will be patrolling the recent edits page and awarding gold up to 1 gold per edit that I personally deem constructive. Sorry, that's pretty subjective, but it is what it is. My gold, my rules. I call upon other wealthy Americans to make a similar pledge if it is within their means. This could be a game changer in the future of our country.

When awarding gold, I won't award less than .25 gold and not more than 1 gold. The better your edit, the more gold you get. I don't care what kind of edit it is. If it's creating a great picture and adding it to an article, that's fine with me; if it's creating a great new article, even better. If you think you did something great and I missed it, use my talk page to contact me and I'll take a look.

Man, how I miss those.
