The Buybot is Back!
The market mechanism dubbed the 'Buybot' built by the admins to gobble up our overproduction is back! As of this morning we should all see the default market price is back up to where it was before the last update (on your Storage menu).
After preliminary test I have determined that the Buybot is once agian buying up food products and raw materials from anyone posting them at prices up to and including the default price. Weapons prices are already above the default in Ireland so no luck for gunmakers.
So here's what you do about it:
IMMEDIATELY remove any offers you have at prices below the default. For raw materials that's 0.33 IEP. You'll be amazed at how it still sells - even though there are prices much lower than yours on the market! Also...don't forget taxes
Conclusion:
In a matter of hours the buybot will buy most of the goods that are currently under the default price. Price levels will rise back to what we had 1 week ago. This is good for sellers but no so good for buyers.
Also, there is now officially no hope of raising the value of the IEP vs gold. The buybot will continue to pump copious amounts of local currency into the market.

Goddammit! It's great for selling which I'm satisfied with but the IEP is going to be battered by this.
I thought the buybot had two wheels.
Was there really any hope of repairing the IEP? All we can do is try to make our currency competitive internationally I suppose.
