Israeli Freedom
Joe DaSmoe
A resistance war has begun in the Haifa district of Turkey. The Israelis have published a paper stating that they no they cannot win, but they simply want Turkey to know that they are still there.
If eRepublik is going to truly mirror RL, Israel needs to exist.
What, if any, is our country's position on an Israeli nation?
I support it. I just got back from Haifa where I fought for Israel. I would encourage those who can afford it to do the same. Israel may be too weak to win, but the world should stand behind their efforts for freedom.
If America is to be the "beacon of hope and freedom" we should support any attempts of nations who seek freedom and democracy.
I applaud your efforts, enslaved Israeli citizens. Continue to fight the good fight.
As always, your comments, for or against, are greatly appreciated.

We really need to free eIsrael. However this is a time of war in eAmerica, and we need to stay home. Yet, i'm definitely in favor of sending a small well armed/financed group of people to eIsrael 🙂
i do not think we should mess around with israel and turkey yet, we need to wait till the situation with PEACE is settled.
Reed, Im not suggesting we take an agressive stance on it. I just would like to gather America's thoughts on the situation. America=freedom
Amen!
@Ree😛 Almost.
We must help Isreal with however many forces we can spare.
I say we help Israel, even if only to piss off the Turks 🙂
damn right 😁

It should be Palestine.
@Michael Hanson
no, it shouldn't. there is no palestine in RL and even if there were, Gaza is not on the eRepublic map, only israeli turf.
@galartsi
"there is no palestine in RL" what do you mean?
Collinar = my new hero.
@Ruzgarli
there is no such state. there are palestine people who live in Gaza, but they have no country. if this game is based on RL there shouldn't have a country here too. i do not oppose them haveing a country, but if they want to have one they should ask the admins to add to the game the Gaza Strip and the west bank. i am a peace-loving israeli, and i do not mind living together with them, but if they wish for a country, they cannot have her on israeli ground.
people. please support us israeli in our war for indepedance. we are a peace-loving nation, all we want is our own country, to live under our own flag.
@galartsi
ok, thanks for information...
i wanna add that you're still strengthless
@Ruz hey hey keep it civil

we know the RW is to take away some of turkey's military force. we don't really mind, as the weaker turjey is the better chances we have in the future... its not like anyone is fighting right now. the turks just waste some gold.
Thumbs down on playing cop for the eWorld at our own expense, here and RL.
right on
the guy above me is a tool
@jeremy:
wht news are you watching? cause i dunno, but when i see in my news in israel that the palestines are sending missiles at our cevilians every day for the past 8 years, i don't really see why we should let it go.
the palestines are using their own citizens as human shield. their own childrens. they do not fight us as an army, all they want is to kill our citizens. why else would they send attacks on our cities?

we want to fight the terrorists, but as long as their cevilians are trying to defend them, we have no choise but to attack.
Well this is a fascinating conversation.
Support. Though we do have other matters to deal with at the moment.

I know we are not at the top list of eUSA problems, but I know that if eUSA will help us in our fight , we will help you in yours.
And about the militery operation in Gaza, I believe my friend GalArtsi, said what every israel citizen thinks.
Democracy in China will happen before we even free Israel.
@pars:haha if only Ahmadinejad actually had any power in his country. Last I checked Iran in RL is a sham theocracy in the disguise of a "democracy", before you go criticizing someone else get your own country in order. Maybe instead of funding terrorist groups to create turmoil, you could try funding a decent education system first.
@Gaius Julius, OUCH, i like that one... it'll never happen though Iran doesn't need education, it would make the proganda harder to fabricate.
@GalArtsi, Agreed with all that you have to say. The news reports on what it wants to report on. That's the problem with the USA. However, you want facts here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,475568,00.html
Pay attention this little comment: "Israel launched the aerial campaign a week ago in a bid to halt weeks of intensifying Palestinian rocket fire from Gaza. The offensive has dealt a heavy blow to Hamas, but failed to halt the rocket fire."
It seems that if hamas really cared about it's people it would stop the rocket fire and in effect stop the air strikes....
@justinius
"From 2001 through May 2008, Hamas launched more than 3,000 Qassam rockets and 2,500 mortar attacks against Israeli targets,"
So who are the aggressors? If mexico sent rockets into the USA would we just stand by and watch? Heck, we had a single day of terrorists attacks and we decided to go to war, they've been putting up with this for 7 years and you want to say that they have no right to go to war?
Blaming Hamas for the ongoing impasse between Israelis and Palestinians makes for shallow reasoning. Last century, Zionism was devoted to the cause of a Jewish state, and once accomplished, the Palestinians were given the boot. According to the UNRWA, in 2008 the population of Palestinians identified as living in refugee camps awaiting a return to their homeland reached 4.6 million. I do not agree with Hamas's politics of war, terrorism, and intolerance toward Israel. From their point of view, however, they and their fellow Palestinians are the victims of Israeli aggression and injustice. They are with reason, though that is not justification for what has been done in response.
As for eRepublik, I don't much care if Israel is free or not. In the RW, that part of the world enjoyed more equality when someone else was in charge.
I'm amazed that there are people who don't support eIsrael after what happene😛 http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Jewish_Genocide
I find it interesting that not only did the first and only eGenocide take place against the Jews, but also that eTurkey didn't even, in their apology, return a territory or two to the Jews so that they could have their own state again.
In the end. Israel are the good guys and are only defending themselves.
Glad I could sum up the truth for you all.
Thank you cj will win
support to Israel from Croatia
@Michael Hanson: Does anyone have an understanding of the history in the area of Palestine for the last 80 years? From 1920-1945 the Jewish tried to move to Israel simply so they could create a large community ultimately to prevent persecution. However both the British and Palestinians tried to restrict Jewish immigration to Palestine. Is that fair no. Then when the UN created fair partition (in 1947) that both the Palestinians and Israeli's agreed on, the Arab states tried to invade and kick. Do you call that equality. Both sides (Israels and the Palestinians) have flawed arguments. But is it realistic to dismantle the Israel especially when it has created the only stable economy in the middle east not dependent on Oil?
Its all besides the point, Free eIsrael, they we're invaded because of RW tensions not realistic eRepublik reasons.
Please no personal attacks, educated opinions and debate were my intentions when I wrote this.
@ mystery
"The news reports on what it wants to report on. That's the problem with the USA."
So you're saying that the problem with our country is that the government doesn't tell the media what they are allowed/forced to report on...
*edited* my apologies joe
Thank you, I love how those who disagree with a free Israel are neglecting to vote BTW.

CJ- I think Americans care about the truth more than we have been given credit for as of late.
It's supply and demand- If we care about the truth and reporters care about money, the way for them to make money is to report honestly. While you're right that there is bias in the media, the bias comes from looking at the facts, and is unavoidable.
Why is everyone talking about RL and "if this game is based on RL"?
It's NOT. That's the whole point. (ok, it is *based* on RL in some sense, but that's not what you guys mean).
Anyway, all of this RL political stuff has a place:
http://www.erepublik.com/en/forum/Off-Topic/1
I guess we should keep RL facts and arguments out of this game, especially these days. Otherwise, sooner or later this game will cease to be only a game and will become another batlefield of RL propaganda as well.
Coming back to the game, of course eIsraelis have a genuine right to e-existence and whoever is interested in this matter may join them or fight them. There is no need to add-up RL propaganda on top of this.
"It's supply and demand- If we care about the truth and reporters care about money, the way for them to make money is to report honestly. While you're right that there is bias in the media, the bias comes from looking at the facts, and is unavoidable."
I am American and I love my country. That said the media isn't accountable, because we can't find out if what they say is true. If they sell you a lie and tell you it's the truth you don't know. Journalists are as I've previously stated, the lowest form of life.
and if scientists tell you there is a place called the north pole, there is no way to tell if it is true or not aside from going there and seeing it for yourself. Why aren't they the lowest form of life?
Because we actually know reporters lie at times? But then that means there is a way to tell they are lying. in which case they are accountable to the truth and those who know it, and therefore the truth is in demand and reporters will generally report the truth to make money.
Why *AREN'T* they the lowest form of life?
Because politicians exist.
Reporters report with bias. You see what they want. and IMO they cripple this country.
HEY ho! lets sum it up again, we ARE good guys, when u will be in our team in the game or in RL, i will think those who comment against us are worth talking back to.
This way and the other way, we do need help lol, thats a fact, but we have some time, and i really think the US should fix things up in thier own countrey before they can help us.
And as i said, to each person who think he is better then us, or that we are evil forces came down from the hell, come israel, come sderot or ashkelon for one week, when you will get back, if you will, i want to see how you will comment.
For grammer mistakes and more, sorry im freakin tired, and i wrote that down in 2 minutes, just sick to see people talk some shet like that.
I,and the United States Green Party stand behind the Israel.
We applaud the defiance and courage of the Israeli people. But there is not much we can do with all the wars and the State of the Economy.
-Jamarcus/US Green Party Secretary
i don't think you see what I'm trying to say. I am asking why scientists are not crippling the country, if aside from going out of the way to find out, there is no way to tell if they are lying. this was your argument for why reporters are bad for the country.
that said, I attended NIU on the date of the shootings. I know something about reporters and how little they seem to care. We had a lot of them running around asking students who clearly wanted to be left alone for interviews. They set up cameras around mourning sites and generally made the atmosphere feel cheap.
HOWEVER, none of them went around saying on the news "due to a nuclear explosion, one million students died today at northern illinois university." They may have went a little far with the speculation, but never did I see an outright lie.
Are reporters good for the country? I believe so. I believe America needs the truth, and that atmosphere may demand that reporters be a little more aggressive than tact and manners may say. I do not doubt the general 'truthiness' of reports. You just need to understand when they are speculating and when they are reporting. It's not hard.
KEEP IT CIVIL!!!
Different type of story. Anti US / Anti War sells. Making the US or Israel by extension look bad is good for a reporter especially for the liberal reporters of today.
Scientists and Reporters have different goals. Scientists want a place in history. They want to spread science and the truth. Reporters want to sell a paper.
Cj you are 100% correct there my friend
