Is this the end for PM XZ already or not?

Day 1,535, 09:08 Published in New Zealand Turkey by Manny Calavera

Kia Ora Kiwis.

I know this article is a little early, however, who knows what will happen in the next couple of days. I don't want to forget about the people who have helped me so much in the last month or any strides we have made as a nation. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to be your Prime Minister, even though you did try to impeach me o7. No hard feelings though, I take it all in stride. However, I wouldn't have made it through this month without the help of a great many people. People who have time anad again taken the time to answer all of my questions with patience and great enthusiasm. At least I thought they were enthusiastic!

I never knew exactly how much time goes into being a PM or CP. I always assumed that you have this cabinet and you get 5 gold and a pretty decent medal. There is a ton of work that goes into it. I spent way more time on erepublik talking to people from all over the world as well as IRC. I'm pretty sure that my time on erep doubled this month, especially in the beginning when we were dealing with Chile and Argentina. I hope people realize that there were a lot of nights when you just won't sleep because there are so many little things to do.

Anyway, to Mortalbeta and Helen Moon. Even though you are both gone from eNew Zealand, I can't thank you for all the help you gave me in the first couple of weeks. Mortalbeta showed me the ropes, and HM spent countless hours staring at this computer and eventually endangering her health. I yelled at her constantly to go home and take a break, but she wouldn't listen. Thank you both for your perseverance. After HM stopped playing, sor3na and Milanovic Nikola both did an admirable job taking on more responsibility as MoFA. Koska de STRAH is peerless when it comes to being the MoF and we really are lucky to have him as the MoF for eNZ.

My MoD team were on point with battle strategies, and I'd like to thank them all for a job well done. Oboacer and Ginny Tory did fantastic jobs with getting articles out for both the PnPP and the nation, so thanks very much for that. Daniel Dodge was a great Minister of Edumacation, great articles for the noobs which I really enjoyed. I introduced a couple of new jobs this month when I took over. Minister of Sheep and Wool (WelshLad). He dealt with talking to all our new visitors who wished to become Citizens and letting them know who they had to go to. Minister of Culture and Spam (Ave-Imperator) who wrote a couple of great articles to Argentina to really make them cry and finally my Minister of Internal Security (Spud of Doom) who is the strongest of all eKiwis, and his job was to focus on the safety of our regions. And last but not least I like to say a big thank you to Fionia. We had our moments where we both raged, but I think everything worked out for the best and nothing was really personal. Thanks Fi, for being awesome.

Ok, so with all that being said, I'm running for another term this month. Yea, I know it was kind of like a goodbye and all that, but my Grandpa always told me to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. So If I do a goodbye email now, and don't win next month, then I won't have to write a thank you then ya know? Killing two birds with one stone I think. Anyway, this month has been crazy to say the least and I think this maybe the first time we have ever endured these circumstances as a nation, at least it was all a first for me, and I'd like to think that I did a good job of leading us through all the craziness. I know a lot of people don't like the way things turned out with us being wiped. When you are in charge, sometimes you have to make decisions for the future of a nation. I did that for eNew Zealand and I will never back down from my decision because I believe in my decision and that's that! Here's your options and now you can figure it out. Get wiped for a day with the hope of getting our regions back or suffer months and months of RW's with Argentina as our overlords? I think Not.

I did promised that military would get restructured. Believe it or not, I am still working on it. It got put on the back burner after we started losing our regions, and it is a huge project. One that will be completed in the near future. I think I bit off a bit more than I could chew with that one. Thank you to everyone who has fought for eNZ in every MU, over the last month, we wouldn't be whole today without your dedication and effort. Anyway, I hope you are all happy with our current arrangement with the Aussies. They have been more than fair with all of their discussions, and I'l like to thank srg91 the Australian CP for all his help and to wish him the best in retirement! Cheers maaaaaaaaaaaaate. Australia and New Zealand have had strained relationships in the past, but I believe that we are on the right track with our current agreements and I hope that this continues.

A big thank you to the PnPP party and to everyone that I have met or who has helped me over the last month, I couldn't have done any of this without you and I hope for continued success in the month ahead. Remember to vote for Xanthar Zaiban as the PnPP candidate for PM of eNew Zealand!
